Does NOT allow for removal of Base Stem...
Meaning the stand. Specifically the part that connects to the monitor screen itself. My purpose in buying was to use in Portrait Mode rather than landscape. I removed 4 screws from two areas on the stem but it was pretty much a useless exercise as it did nothing.
Wish i had known in advance. There is no way to remove (did an online search--- only to come up with solutions for other models) other than sawing. That's now my next step.

UPDATE: Sawed it off (lotta work with a handsaw) so it's now free of the stem attachment. Another negative---it needs to step-down from DC to AC so it come with an AC Adapter. If you travel with the monitor as i do, not a good thing....

Poorly designed stand results in 2 Broken Screens
The screen has been good up until today. I had the window open, with my Macbook in front of the AOC screen, a minor gust of window blew it straight over and cracked both screens. I since tested the design. Its top heavy, leans forward and the stand is spread wide apart so that a minimal amount of force from the back sends it straight over. Next time I will spend a bit more money and get a product designed sufficiently. AOC customer care were not interested. I think they get this a lot.

TERRRIBLE QUALITY DO NOT BUY!
I have purchased 2 of these monitors and after 3 months of purchasing them I started to having issues with the monitors.
I sent in one of them to get repaired and while the first one was being repaired, second monitor started to have same issue. I sent in the second one and received the first one back from the repair center. Less than a month of having the first one repaired, it started to have same issue AGAIN! I sent emails to AOC but no answers from them. RMA reps' customer service is very poor. If you are going to buy their monitors, please reconsider. Pay a little more and get the better name brand monitors. I have purchased hundreds of monitors for the company and only the AOC ones have the issues.

List all of the SPECS for this Monitor.
WARNING: This monitor is not VESA compatible without an adapter. Also this monitor uses a power brick instead of a standard DC power connector. Both of these made this monitor incompatible with my specific setup scenario.

Great for poor eye sight
I bought the 27" for an elderly client that has poor eye sight. It was an excellent replacement for her tiny 17" monitor, the color rendition and frame-less design looked great.
Let's deal with the non VESA compatibility issue first. At this price point, for this size I wouldn't expect VESA compatibility. That said, if you know what you are doing it shouldn't be too hard for you to take apart the monitor, remove the fixed stand mount and put a custom VESA bracket on the back. I watch people do crazier things all the time on YouTube.
If you are handy with building things then I would highly recommend this monitor as a cheaper and fun (making things) way to a frame-less 3 monitor gaming setup. If you are not, then spend your money elsewhere.

27" Monitor
I love my 2 -27" Monitor, it has its own head set in the back you can use if you need it. it's slim enough that I can put it in a 15" curve desk and still use my keyboard and mouse. I wish they have added metal on the base for more stability a bit light I'm sometime afraid it will tip over but it doesn't. Very nice monitor for its price.....

You get what you pay for.
I got this for work, and not gaming. So the refresh rate and gaming features don't matter. However, this monitor is really cheaply made. I mean, the front bottom of bezel has a tiny gap against the screen, which is a sign typical of cheap monitors. The menu settings are awkward at best. No built-in speakers, but a line-out jack that is very fragile. You actually have to push in your headphones a certain way to get full sound. Otherwise you only get 1 of 2 channels. Yes it is big and bright, but understand that you get what you pay for.

Great bang for your buck.
I normally don't take the time to write reviews but i figured i'd skim through my orders and write reviews for products that i actually ended up liking really well. This monitor was on of them. Connected to my system and has seen months of use at this points and i have no issue with it. Colors and image quality are nice and clear and gaming on it is great, even tho it doesn't have the buzz words of 1444p and 114hz refresh rate. At the time of ordering i paid roughly $130 for it and would gladly buy another. However a few things to mention. It's not true edge to edge. There's some black lining around the screen before you actually hit the edge. This lining isn't removeable and if you try you'll more then likely break the screen. My second issue and this may just be a rare case but i have exactly 1 dead pixel in it (which isn't noticeable to be frank i had to squint and look really hard to double check) All and all if you're looking for a good monitor whether it be for gaming, or simply just general desktop use. This monitor is a steal.

Good Product
So If you go into knowing its a 130 dollar 27inch 1080p monitor you will not be dissapointed. Ive had it for about two months and its bright, the colors seem to be really accurate, and the overal pixel quality is great. I got mine to do 75hz which is about the max FPS my computer will do on AAA titles at max settings. If you just want a good monitor for some good 1080p gaming or maybe just a replacement for an old or aging monitor, this isn't a bad choice.

Great new monitor!
I didn't rate it for gaming because that is not what I use this monitor for. I will ask my son to test it for gaming and then I will add to my review. So far the image quality is great, set up easily and worked really well with my new computer. Excellent value for the money. My husband uses AOC monitors at work and I wasn't sure at first but he said that they work great at work so we decided on this for my new monitor.

Fantastic computer monitor
I am so happy this this monitor. The price is right and it looks great. It comes with a hdmi cable to connect to your computer (the monitor also has a VGA connection but you have to have your own cable for that). However, using hdmi provides a much better picture. I use my computer for work, which is mostly writing, graphics and photo editing. I have no complaints as the picture is very clear, bright and the colors are spot on.

Great display for sight impaired person.
I'm an old gamer and my vision is somewhere in the lower levels - I no longer drive due to my vision issues, however, I still want to play video games and be able to read the quests. This display may not have the clarity of the more expensive displays, however, it's doing the trick for me. Would recommend it to anyone that wants to be able to enjoy their games a little bit longer.

pictures are photo shoped
the pictures that are dispalyed for this screen show that there is nearly no bezel. and the actual screen extends all the way to that thin bezel. but once you get it you could see that there actually is another bezel under the screen. the scondary bezel is about 4 times thicker then the outside bezel making the screen go no where near the edge. i bought these monitors because i thought they would look good side by side for a pc gaming setup, hopefully having very thin to nearly no bezel. thats not the case. if your a gamer and want a monitor with very tiny bezels dont get it here.

Clear picture, good color but Amazon service is hit or miss
I needed a couple spares for my home office when I work remotely, company paid so I had a $200 budget. Picture quality is good, connection options were sufficient for my laptop. Sturdy base. Item says its frameless, which technically it is but it isn't a full edge to edge screen. There is a bezel that measures 1/4 inch along the sides and top. I did have an issue in that I clicked the options and ordered two 27" models for $99 each but received the 24" instead. It was an error in the website where either option you picked was priced the same. Notified Amazon the next day I received but the website was fixed. Amazon then refused to send me the correct monitors I ordered because according to the rep, "I got what I paid for."

DOES allow for removal of base stem...
AlexVogue gave this a 1 star because they couldn't figure out how to remove the base stem. Looking into the bottom you can see screws and by using a screwdriver you can pop off the cap and remove them stem. I find it funny they sawed it off. I actual don't want to remove the stem but did just for proof.
Giving this 5 star for now to negate their unfounded review. Will revise this based on actual monitor quality in a few months.

Excellent computer monitor @ a great price!
The AOC 27B1H 27" monitor works perfectly! The display outputs great colors, brightness, and crispness. My monitor arrived with zero dead pixels. No real complaints. I never had any experience with AOC and so far, it's been positive. (I've always purchased/used HP monitors.). If you are looking for a budget 27" computer monitor that offers great quality, look no further. This is an excellent monitor.

Garbage
This came with no instructions for how to adjust anything and the buttons on the underside don’t allow me to make adjustments intuitively. The picture is terrible—fuzzy and pixelated—and doesn’t fill the screen. There’s also a bright rectangle in the upper left corner that never goes away. Seems like a bargain until you have to use it. Save your money for something better.

Terrible stand
Nice AOC display IPS is my favorite. However this display fails in one key aspect. The stand is terrible. Any bumps or if the floor is loose and someone walks by the monitor wiggles. There is no screw to tighten it.

Beautiful Frameless View
I love this monitor! I use this for work, so it does not work hard. The large bright display is easy on the eyes and a breeze to hook up and use.
My only complaint was that we had to return our first monitor due to lost lines or info at the top. As to whether or not it was initial quality, or shipping damage I’m not sure.

Great product for the cost
Pros: The picture is great - excellent resolution.for the cost. It comes with a 6' HDMI cable. Easy to set up. good value for what you get.
Cons: stand seems a little flimsy given the weight of the screen. Wish the screen had better options for rotating left to right.
I replaced an old Samsung 22" FP I had that was fading and very heavy in comparison. It is amazing the difference between 22" and 27" When it comes to opening two files sided by side.

Its fine Great for productivity. Okay for gaming
Rating this product strictly on its advertising and it's price point. At the time it was a deal unmatched. As far as 1080p native, 5ms screens go. Its light and functional. Buttons are on the bottom and have a solid feel when pressed. This medium is already dated and you may want to consider a 1440 or a 120+Mh as both are standard for gaming. I use you scaling to run 1440 because I really needed the space for productivity and not gaming. This is a fantastic solution at this price point. However I did run 3 in eyefinity and it was awesome. But I'm not the best critic on that end.
