I brought it mainly for its durability and notifications as, being a Painter/Decorator, it would get bashed about a bit, get paint splatters ect.
The watch itself is light, comfortable and bulletproof. After 9 months use, nothing is damaged on the case, the straps are solid and the touch screen is like brand new, not a scratch.
Notifications are good, meaning I can leave my phone in my pocket ect. Music controls are responsive and the compass seems pretty accurate.
The sleep function never really worked for me, I assumed as I wear it quite low and I'm a fidgety sleeper, this was my fault.
The other functions worked "to a point". All day stress didn't really perform, I could however take manual readings, along with heartbeat ect if I did it via the watch.
All sensor functions have now stopped working at all on my left wrist, no matter placement or tightness.
All of these functions, including sleep and all fay stress, will however work on my right wrist where there is a gap between my tattoos!
Left wrist has been tattooed 15+ years, so it's not like it's new ink.
According to other online forums, others have found this too. I just don't understand how it used to kind of work, and 3 days ago, stopped completely.

The watch overall is very nice looking, easy to wear, the battery lasts quite a while if you are not looking at the screen all the time. It lasts me a month if I just use it as a watch and periodically look at it. Its very comfortable to wear on the wrist
We recently did some hiking in the peak district and I used the compass, hiking/walking facility, battery lasted a week
In order to track your progression you have to have bluetooth on, this drains your phone really quick which is why majority of the time I have it switched off
Several things let it down which is why I've only given it 3 stars
1. You can't see the watch during the day, the screen is unreadable, you have to somehow cover the screen to be able to read it
2. The app is useless, doesn't sync all the time and loses connection, today 30-10-2022 I couldn't set the time as it refused to log in. Took me an hour of trying before it finally synced then set the time. If this had failed I would have returned the watch as it would render it useless. Why you can't set the time using the buttons is beyond me

the strap is nice and soft but doesn't slip around.
Very simple to navigate the menu .The battery life is brilliant IF your using as a watch, as soon as you start using the tracking apps ( of which there are lots) the battery does drop quicker which is to expected .
7 day holiday plenty of walking( not using any tracking app) was counting 9000 to 14000 steps a day ..( very similar to my misses's Fitbit) it's checking my heart rate and sleeping and I only charged it 3 times over 8 days!!!
Using a sailing app and 4 hours sailing it used around 35% of the battery from full ... And this single app is why I bought it ..shows current speed which as a catermaran sailer is important...speed is everything ...
BUT here lies an issue when you are using a single app I cannot find away to navigate away from it and look at other apps , check the time ,see notifications ( once they have flashed up then disappeared) .
It's not fully Google integrated which is a shame BUT surprisingly started showing Google appointments from the Google calendar on my phone on my watch ...bonus !!! You cannot check the calendar on the app to see what you have pending only gives you warnings that an appointment is due....
The water resistance seems great so far , sailing a catermaran at 22 mph is a very wet sport ..( sadly doesn't show speed in knots )
One thing Ive noticed ..whilst on holiday using the showers with the watch on it was going crazy ...the water spraying across the screen was triggering the screen ..I had 5 walking apps stop started , cancelled/ stored/ paused over the holiday !!!.
Over all I'm really happy with this watch, it looks smart, the few clock faces are nice .
What I don't like ...using polerized sunglasses makes the screen invisible .
In bright sun without glasses on was ( rarely difficult to see once you woken the screen) but I had to exaggerate the movent to wake the screen.
Only being able to 1 app and nothing else.
Not Google integrated ...
I've enjoyed using it and wearing it.. For the price is brilliant..

The T Rex Pro is decent enough, but it has one "feature" that's so annoying I'm already looking for another watch. It has a reminder that vibrates if you've been sitting for an hour, and it tells you to get up and walk around a bit. Fine during the day, but it also does it when you're laying down trying to get some sleep.
So the sleep tracking works, but I can't use it as it keeps waking me up just as I'm about to fall asleep.
I've looked all over the internets, and can't find a way to turn it off.

There's loads out there, plenty cheap of ones, all of which will do the job, I'm sure. I did lots of digging, read so many reviews, compared stats, etc, etc.
It turns out there's cheap and simple, and there's cheap because it's an old model, and there's sell-a-kidney. You can get them with mp3, remote camera control etc. In fact all that's missing is the spy cam, Ultra-high powered magnet, and mini circular-saw blade, for evading crocodile swamps and nefarious villain's shark-tanks!
So why the T-Rex Pro?
Welp, it's BIG! It's RUGGED! It's got Mil-Grade certification!!! And by wearing it I'm a default PRO!! At everything! I can even play the piano now!!!
Sorry, I digress...
Actually, the reviews were all good, it's an Amazon brand product, (which I've found to always be reliable), and the pro version comes with active GPS, which for that fact alone, I love! (Yes, I know, smart phones, but so fight me).
The watch strap is a soft silicone type material, really comfy for 24/7 wear. It does light up when you move, at night, but that can be sorted in the app, somewhere, it doesn't bother me.
The Zepp app (separate download, no subscription) is good, all super-fitness etc. Sleep tracking, heart tracking, calories, steps, workouts etc etc etc....
However, what it doesn't do, (Please Fix, Zepp team) is give an actual Heart Trace, (but I don't think there's any that do, yet). There are apps for smart phones that do it - although not whilst sleeping - but so far as I can see, not a single smart-watch offers this.
Getting notifications from phone to watch was also a purlava, but spam enough buttons, grant all permissions, sell your soul, and it works.
Also, can get screen protectors and bezel covers, replacement straps. I got the extended warranty, only about £15 for three years, and in my experience, they usually pay off.
Otherwise great watch, lots of 'Cool Stuff's' with it, great battery life, and looks the business! Definitely in the 'Box-Deluxe' category (packaging is also nice, no plastic!). And waaay cheaper than other branded GPS Smartwatch's.

So no tracking or maps or 'breadcrumb' trails....hopeless as an outdoor watch. Get a Garmin Instinct for £150.00 and you get solar charging and GPS proper....as well as all the fitness stuff.
You can't use it unless you download the Amazfit app first and synchronise with the watch. So if you have no phone or no mobile connection you can't use it until you do.
Some on Youtube seem to love them but as even the hiking channels don't mention the lack of GPS coords when telling us about its great GPS abilities you might wonder if they got them free and were told not to say anything....if I was hiking it would be the first thing I'd want to know.
