Needed an inexpensive server/developer box
And I found one. Is what I needed
- inexpensive
- accommodates ATX power supply
- has top socket/switch panel
and some surprises
- no place for for a CD/DVD or floppy drive (but has SD card slots on top..
- power supply on bottom behind barrier (had to remove panel to insert ATX supply)
- micro ATX MB as far from power supply as possible (8 and 6 pin PS cables would not reach, had to use 4 pin).
- drive slots (2) are mounted low next to power supply behind barrier and for 3.5" drive only, not for 2.5" SSD. Duct tape is handy.
-top panel USB, Audio, and SD card slots are nice but power light is so bright it makes slots (black on black) hard to see.
- had to hold CPU mount in place while installing CPU heat sink, pushes out of case easily.
That said with a few minutes fiddling I have what I need for a server with not many peripherals, Using a Gigabyte MB and Ryzen CPU with graphics, just do not expect to add much and agree the front panel is unique, I never saw a case without any accommodation for an optical (CD/DVD) drive before.
But is what I needed and is light.
- inexpensive

As of October 2020, nowhere near a good value anymore.
I think if you have a budget of $50 for a case, you will be happy. But if aesthetics matter more, while I've had a lot of compliments on it, I do wish I had spent more for something a bit more refined. The lighting on the front is cool, but this case is light with a lot of plastic, and the window is acrylic.
My last computer was a 6 year old midrange HP with a Core I5 4460, so a Ryzen 7 on an Asus X570 and a WD Black NVME with 16GB 3600 has a much different feel to it, even using an older RX 480 (waiting for the fall for new releases) it felt like I should have opted for tempered glass and all metal.
That obviously depends on your budget. For under $50, I haven't seen better.
Update : there are better cases for the money. I was new to the side window and RGB, with this being my first one.
Been building other computers, and I have found better cases for the money. Luckily this was for myself, as I would be embarrassed now.
The RGB in the case quit working after a couple months.
You can get tempered glass with metal now for less, seeing those prices drop while this has inexplicably increased in price...

Great budget build pc case
I was absolutely blow away with the ease of building in this case, it is sufficiently roomy and easy to cable manage in, though I will note that there is very little room to use the management hole above the motherboard (this caused me to have to route the cpu power cord where I didn’t want to) and you can’t fit any fan in it bigger than 120mm, so make sure you route the cables for your rear exhaust and top exhaust fans first, and don’t mount them until after putting in your motherboard and connecting the cpu power cable, as it will be difficult to screw or plug anything in. Also worth noting is that the back panel doesn’t have a lot of clearance, so if not using a modulate power supply or flat cabling, you may need to fine tune your cable runs to get the case closed. All in all it is a great case with plenty of hard drive mounting and fan spots, and a pay basement to hide cables.

Completely surprised with what you get
RGB front panel? Say What? I can't even keep track of the number of RGB modes it has. It flashes, it stays solid, it changes color. It even has filtered ventilation. What?!? For about $40?? I would not have expected this for the price I paid. Overall this is a very respectable case. Yes, the case is a bit... let's say flimsy. The metal is a bit thin giving it a VERY low weight when empty and it can visibly warp when off centering force is applied to opposing corners but it has USB3 front ports and when everything is installed it becomes considerably more rigid. I placed a full ATX mobo and 2 HDDs and 2 SSDs and they all fit fine. The PSU was a run of the mill 600W Thermaltake PSU non modular unit and with everything done I was able to wire manage everything out of sight with more than enough room for more. Cooling is great with lots of room for more fans but not a liquid cooler. Ok, maybe you could get a cooler in there that was a smaller sized one. Otherwise more than enough cooling space for an AMD 3600 and a RX590 full card.
This has to be the best Case Value I've seen in a long time. I didn't need RGB but it just happened to come with it so Bonus! I'll get more of these in future simple builds like this one. Maybe I'll try a full blown RGB rig since as it is the current rig just has the RGB included with the case. I'll throw in some strips and fans next time.
If you need something simple but big enough to handle full sized mobo and gpu as well as cpu cooling then this is perfect and has some unexpected surprises.

okay for the money
So the case is decent, The air flow not so much. The problem is the front panel. There isnt much of an opening to allow fresh air in. So i modified the front panel to allow fresh air in. I drill 120 1/16'' holes through the front pannel and now it can breath.
The other thing that needs improvment is the height from mobo to the top of the case, I wasn;t able to install a top exhaust fan due to the clearance. I could have mounted a fan through the grating on top but even then it would not be straight. and the wiring managment over the top of motherboard is almost immposible.
My case arrived with the bottom back of the case dented in where the screw holds the side panel on but that is a handling error. nothing to do with the product itself.

Fantastic lower-cost case
Making comparisons to high-end cases isn't fair, but for the cases in this price point, this one is a steal.
Astetics: LEDs work fine and look great. They plug into a sata power cable, which isn't mentioned in the manual they send (only a minor nitpick. The plug didn't appear to be sata at a glance, but it's printed on one side).
There are "some" options for cable management, but not a ton. Again, at this price point I didn't expect much. I was surprised though at the mention of space for a radiator. Im not water cooling so no comment on how well it's equipped for it, but the manual at least mentions it!
Would have liked a couple more points to screw in motherboard standoffs, but there were "enough".
If I were building more lower-end gaming rigs, I would absolutely look to this case again in the future.

I'm not satisfied with the ventilation. Could do the top USB better.
I really like the look of this case, but I'm using it with the face taken off, (and a bit of cut-to-fit AC filter stuck over it), because it just doesn't appear to have enough opening around the front panel to let adequate air in for my needs. If I were to redesign this thing, I'd either put vents in around the LED strip, across the front in a speaker grille like pattern, or maybe just leave a quarter inch gap all around the outside, between the front plate and the chassis, not just a one inch gap at the bottom.
Also, the ONE card reader takes up a WHOLE 2-USB 2.0 port block on the motherboard, and the ONE USB 3.0 port also connects in such a way as to consume a WHOLE 2-USB 3.0 port block. I ended up using an internal hub rather than waste a couple ports.
Typing this from memory. It's at home, and it's been a couple months now since I assembled my desktop.

No Airflow, wish it was better. Maybe drilling holes?
The reason I don’t recommend this case is because of airflow. Since the front panel has only one tiny vent at the bottom of the case almost no air can be sucked in. With the front panel on, the fans scream for death to grace their blades. If you’re the kind of person who thinks lives matter, fan lives that is, then you’ll listen to their screams and remove the front panel while using the pc, for your own personal gain. The thought of the suffering this case causes so many fans every day is enough to make a grown man cry :’(. Honestly I’m returning this case to buy a CM k500 RGB since it has a partial mesh vent and another vent on the front panel. I like the look of this case but I just can’t stand the fan noise, and no, higher quality fans wouldn’t make a difference. There’s just no airflow. Maybe you could drill some little holes in the front, and I was really considering that, but I was worried it would look tacky, and then I couldn’t return it.

for the price, its a lie.
pros:

cons:
there is no cable management space in the back, its a nightmare, as well as no tie down points
getting a regular atx board in with a large cooler is shimmying it into place, and if you happen to have a motherboard with a face and backplate, it barely squeezes under the rear fan, which sounds like a dying hornet.
the material is very cheap, its light enough to pick up with your pinky finger.
it has no acrylic side panel, its cheap plastic, its smoked, and scratches by rubbing your shirt against it, and attracts dust and debris because it builds up static.
and finally its not quite mid atx, its thinner and shorter than what id consider a mid atx tower, it didnt fit the height of the cpu cooler i chose, so i had to resort to going to the hardware store to get spacers and longer screws, and glue the spacers to the side panel to fit it over comfortably.... but given its not actual acrylic it bent over the cooler just fine to keep the animals out of it for the time being.
conclusion:
this feels like a 20 dollar case, with fancy pictures to make it look good, i regret not going with the rosewill prism s for that build for 30 dollars more, to get actual quality, heavy steel chassis with a real glass panel and 3 fans that dont sound like a dying hornet and its filled with customizable rgb to your color preference etc, and the glass cleans up so you cant even see it from a short distance.

would highly recommend but only after stating this'
it has issues with in taking air, the only intake area is at the very bottom and is less then one inch wide. so a single static fan is the best you'll get.
also the top rear fan slot, you can mount a fan, it will just have 3 out of 4 screws attached, but functions perfectly. so added bonus. Likewise, the case it self is made with cheap metal, hence the price point, so it it bends, RIP.
overall, 8 out of ten stars for looks, value, and function.

You definitely get what you pay for
It's cheap, so it's really not anything you can complain about, but here's everything:
Pros:
- Lightweight
- Comes with standoffs and a bunch of hardware
- Room for 7 fans
- RGB effects for front panel are cool, definitely the best feature of the case
- Decent airflow, with a fan spot to cool your 3.5 inch drive bay
- Thumbscrews for both side panels
Cons:
- No grommits for cable management
- RGB strip isn't syncable with any software
- Metals are thin and clearly not very high-quality
- All but one expansion slot is snap-off, and not able to be put back on
- Cable management with a full ATX board is not super easy
- The rear side panel sits very closely to the cable shroud, bulges easily
- HD Audio mic input doesn't work
- Airflow from the front requires front of case to be unrestricted
- Acrylic side panel is cheap acrylic, and breaks, scratches, and gets prints easily
Overall, not a terrible case, but I should've spent the extra 20ish dollars on a phanteks or thermaltake

Nice but will cause problems
I have had this case for 1 year and 5 months now and it has held up nicely.
In the past few months my USB 3.0 ports (blue usb) have been malfunctioning and making other devices short out or have problems. I used this case on my gaming/streaming PC build and now my webcam no longer works due to the USB 3.0 problem and my elgato has a hard time staying connected.
Sucks putting money into things to run smoothly and trouble shoot to realize it was the case all along.

An okay case
The case is okay given the price point. I’ve only had it for about a month and already the led seems to go out when my pc is on for more than 2 hours. Although if I simply restart the computer then the led’a will continue to work perfectly fine for another two hours or so. The cable management on the back isn’t the greatest but it gets the job done. Everything in the front of the case is good. It comes with one fan which is okay but it can fit up to three in the front for intakes and two in the back for outtakes. I would give it a 4 star over all because there’s still lots it can offer for the price considering that for a few dollars more you can get a nzxt-h510i. I went for it because that case was out of stock when I bought it and i thought the led’s would be worth it.

Worst case ever purchased
Got it and thought it looked like a nice case online and wanted something with rgb. Shows at my house and really excited to put my computer together. I pulled it out of the box and the plastic side panel looks like somebody took a razor blade and just went to town. Was very scratched up. Then theres no cable management. After spending 3 hours of maneuvering cables and trying to tuck them into places and make the back panel go on I still have it off because it does not fit with the smallest of cables. All your cables better be a millimeter thick or they wont fit. Then the less dont change colors. Its stuck on red. And the standoff holes were all crooked and stripped 3 standoffs trying to screw them in. Then the plastic side panel doesnt even fit on the case. It hangs off the side about 2 millimeters and looks very tacky. Overall worst case I've ever purchased. Buying new one. Refuse to use this one. Very cheaply made

Bang for buck
I've just recently used this case to build my first PC and Im in love with it.
I ordered a corsair rgb carbide case a while ago and it came in horrible with obvious damage. The instructions were not clear at all and the pins did not have any labels for the USB. To make it worse the PC did not turn on and im not giving the case 100% blame bc the mobo was also bad but that case had some fault.
So I refunded the Corsair case and the mobo and used this case as a replacement and it works amazing. The manual was more clear, everything had its labels, it was much easier to build with, and its aesthetics is amazing and is damn right gorgeous.
I only have 2 Cons:
The case is barely big enough for an atx board and I barely fit my board into it. It even scraped the case a bit. I had to take out my cpu fan during the build so I could connect the power cables to the cpu at the top corner of the case.
And 2nd I wish there a bit more space so for cable management.
Other than that it's a great case for the price and I can't believe it was $30 less than the Corsair case I ordered and was easier to build with.
Just make sure your atx board fits here

Great for people building their first PC!
My partner and I both livestream different things on Twitch, and their old computer died.
I've been building my own computers since I was a teenager, so when my partner's old desktop died on them, figured it was the perfect opportunity for them to learn and attempt their first build! They were intimidated at first, but after salvaging parts from their old computer, this one was really simple to work with, and looks great!
It makes me proud seeing how happy they were when it booted for the first time, so thank you AeroCool for making a solid budget friendly case!
It's a simple, easy to assemble PC case, and would definitely recommend this as an option to anyone I know that wants to get into making their own custom PC without breaking the bank.

Great case, just a few very minor flaws.
This case is pretty nice for the value, the completely clear side panel is nice, the colors are super bright and vibrant, and it has about 10 or so different RGB settings. Theres only a few places this case falls short. Firstly, the front panel is almost entirely enclosed except for a small vent at the bottom. I havent had any cooling issues in about two weeks of use but its something to consider. On the subject of cooling, the fan that is included doesn't seem that great to the 3 fans I bought to go with it. It doesnt seem as if it blows very hard and I may end up replacing it. Lastly, there is no built in headset jack, it only has separate microphone and headphone jacks, so you'll need to buy a splitter.
Something else to note is that the usb 3.0 plug in has a usb 2.0 attached to it. DO NOT plug in the 2.0 cable thats connected to the 3.0 header. All you need to do is plug the USB 3.0 header in for the front usb ports to work. I had both plugged in and my ports weren't working. This isn't a flaw with the case, but i figured it would be good advice for any first time pc builders considering this case.
Overall, the problems are pretty minimal and easily fixed, definitely recommend this case if you aren't bothered by anything I've pointed out.

Good case, bad ventilation
This is a great case for the price, probably one of the cheapest you can get. And it doesn't look totally ugly. The side is acrylic so not as nice as glass but I don't really care. My only complaint is that the ventilation on this is terrible. While running, it gets HOT. Like the top of the case feels burning hot. I have 3 fans that I installed myself along with the one included but this doesn't seem good enough. The way I fixed it was by taking off the acrylic side panel while using and it seems to be fine then, but this could be a hassle to some people. I'm new to building computers so I'm sure there are better ways to fix this but for now that's just what works for me lol.

Absolutely no airflow
Forget it if you build a gaming system. The position to install additional 2 fans in the manual is ridiculous. Its right on top the PSU structure. But the PSU and 3.5 HDD (if any) already block the airflow so they are practically useless.
Some people have attempted to install the fans in the front, but for doing that, you need bigger standoffs which do not come with the case. And you have to remove the front panel to install those fans. So its a pain in the ass.

Very nice case for a gamer
This case is really awesome. The RGB light strip in the front alone makes this worth it. Plenty of room inside for airflow. You can tuck all the cabling in the back so all you see is nice clean setup the the clear window. All the ports are nicely made and accessible. I like having the PSU location at the bottom. My only complaint is that the clear panel on the side isn't a perfect fit. Would be nice if they put some molding around it so it locks in before you install the thumb screws. It is very lightweight, but not overly thin. I'm actually happy with this.

INSTALL THE POWER SUPPLY FIRST
Before buying this case I read all of the reviews and honestly I was expecting worse than what I got. You get what you pay for and to be totally honest I got a bit more with this case than I was expecting. The quality isn’t the greatest, but all in all for the money this case is a steal. The rgb led’s look great and the way the inside is designed I thought wire management was a breeze to accomplish.
I’ve only had the case for 4 days now. Assuming everything continues to work and not break I’m glad I chose this case.

Great looking case with bad mounting for MBs
The quality of the case was really bad... cheap at the end of the day I did pay 35 dollars to get it used. Motherboard mounts are loose and most did not work could only screw 3 in decently using a mid size mb so that wasn’t a very big issue. It came with no fans not a rear or top nothing at all which sucked. Comes with screws which is good, the case overall isn’t bad it looks beautiful and sleek but def needs some work if I can’t mount a motherboard, it looking good on the outside matters slim to none. Very unpleased overall would be willing to change my review to 5 if sent a new case with everything good. Budget wise if all was good this could be the best on the market budget wise. I loved that they had Microsd added to the front area that was also a plus.

Good case / sh** shipping packaging handling
Ive purchased 3 cases now and 2 of the three have been delivered dented its not really a huge deal have just bent them back but its been on the edges both times and would appear as though maybe the box its shipped in isnt strong enough so some additional packaging or even just more foam around it would be much appreciated i built as a hobbyist and this is a great case go use for a sharp looking cheaper / mid range build with a nice front rgb panel that looks pretty clean id definitely recommend it with exception of the "it might get dropped in shipping and you may need to bang a side straight .part lol"

Big thumbs up, very nice case and fairly priced.
I love this case for a MATX build, it is solid built and light weight. good cable routing, wide open area for cooling. It comes with 1 magnet dust filter on the top, there is nothing cheap about this case. no regrets here.
Now to answer the critics. Yes it only comes with one 120mm fan on the back, add $27 and buy a 5 pack of arctic F12 Silent, add another $7 and add a 5 pack 120MM magnet dust filters. "folks nothing is free in this world"
I replaced the stock fan with 3 F12 up front, 1 F12 in back and one on top. Added 5 dust filters, For $83 I had a very nice case. the 5 fans some will say is overkill, 1 F12 cost $8.33.
Just a build note, the coating they have on this does not conduct electricity well. Just keep in mind when building and ground yourself from another source.
