Die SSD wird von mir als "Unterwegsplatte" zum Zwischenpeichern von Bildern und Daten benutzt. Lese und Schreibgeschwindigkeit habe ich nicht mit einem Tool gemessen, reicht für meine Anforderung absolut aus. Das mitgelieferte USB 3.1 Kabel ist mir etwas zu kurz. Bis jetzt gefällt mir die Platte sehr gut.

I needed a new external drive to replace my 10 year old one as I fear it's on its way out. On sale, this was the cheapest 500gb SSD I could find. Even over internal 2.5" ssd's. Overall it's pretty good. I like the small form factor, its sdd, from a good company, and it's external so I don't need to use an enclosure.
My computer has a problem recognizing this drive and then randomly disconnecting from it when plugged into a usb 3.0 port. I tried changing the 3.0 port power settings but it still acts up. If I use a 2.0 port it works perfectly fine. I only occasionally transfer small files so 2.0 is fine by me. Yes the speeds are only 25mbps but so be it.
This drive does get hot though. Even when not transferring files it stays between 50-60°C when all my other drives are 30°C. When transferring, this gets up to 80°C!

Working well but made of cheap plastic and feels very flimsy. Wonder it would survive a drop.

I purchased this guy as a lightweight and portable extension for my Macbook Pro (because screw Apple's upgrade prices) and it has been velcroed onto the top of my Macbook without issue.
To be honest, it is exactly what I wanted: an extra 480 GB, small, lightweight, the only issue that I have with it is that it is a Micro-B instead of a USB-C interface. Personally, I am not a big fan of Micro-B (never have), but it's not a mood killer.
You will experience some thermal throttling if you are trying to push huge files but for normal, everyday operation, it chugs along quite fine.

Material Ligero-Compacto-calidad Buena
Es compacto para llevar hasta en los bolsillos, de un material bueno pero si se cae si se rompe fácilmente pero se soluciona con comprarle una funda para tenerlo siempre al 100, el precio está súper bien, los puertos de salida están excelentes para lo que servirá, su peso es muy bajo.

Transferred 80GB+ of data and throughput was 380-445 Mbps. Took about ~5 mins.
(Keep in mind to change the properties of the drive, from "Quick Removal" to "Performance", be aware of data loss potential in this mode).
Device itself is small and has a well built and sturdy housing. Looks rugged enough.
All in all, I'm happy with it so far.

Das Ding ist recht schnell, wird vom Staub und Wasser geschützt, das liebe ich! Nur erstmal musste ich es auf Windows umformatieren auf exFat,damit das auch auf meinem Mac geht. Das können viele Laien nicht so einfach machen und deswegen 1 Stern abzug

Llevo unos meses usando este disco duro que compre y quede fascinada, es ligero y un tamaño pequeño, me ha salido muy bueno y sin fallas. Lo recomiendo.

Guess this was a bad purchase for the purpose because I was using it as my backup and now the disk is dead, no power, the mac won't recognize or mount it. It was having issues for the past few weeks where i had to remount and fix it using diskUtility but it finally died and it had my time machine backups there. Bummer. Don't know what I'm going to do to recover my data as it is a solid state drive, guess I'm screwed.

Excelente producto
Utilizo este producto para hacer el respaldo de toda mi biblioteca, con el programa que utiliza para hacer la sincronización es una MARAVILLA, los archivos se pasan en minutos a pesar de ser tantas GB, el único comentario “malo” es que al sincronizar archivos del disco a la computadora, hace un ruido medio raro, lo demás esta de maravilla.

Received it less than 2 weeks ago. The concept of a rubberized drive seems nice.
But the driver started losing files copied onto it and causing random file system errors the 4th time I used it (r).
Then it quickly became unrecognizable by the OS.
I guess the positive aspect of this outcome is that it showed its issue early enough thus did not cause any real loss for me, as I haven't deleted the local copies of the lost files yet.

Klein, leicht und schnell: Schreiben 430, Lesen 435 MB/s. Wenn der Fernseher ExFat kann, das ideale Laufwerk, um Filme schnell zu überspielen! Zum Lesen reicht zwar USB 2 völlig aus, aber zum Aufspielen von HD-Filmen mit ihren großen Datenmengen vom PC unschlagbar. Unter ExFat sind 512 GB völlig ausreichend, um die Sammlung der eigenen Filme am Fernseher immer parat zu haben.

Hay otra opinión de este producto referente a fallos por defecto de fabrica. Sucedió lo mismo, solo llegué a conectarlo 3 veces en mi computadora y ahora no lo reconoce ninguna otra. No me dejó ni guardar información. Pésimo producto

This drive is pretty quick at first, but on long copies, performance drops noticeably from about ~300MB/s to somewhere under the 10MB/s range. I've never seen this happen before on any of my SSDs, but I noticed the drive was sitting at 77 C in HWMonitor, so I suspect it's due to thermal limits. In any case, an SSD that hits a wall when writing defeats the purpose of an SSD, so this drive is unfortunately going back.

Es un excelente disco duro externo
El disco funciona a la perfección con Windows, con ubuntu tuve demasiados problemas para poder utilizarlo, al final tuve que instalar unos paquetes y formatearlo en Ubuntu 14.04 LTS para poder utilizarlo.

This is the second one of these drives I've bought, the other is a 1TB. Love them, they're rugged, small, and very fast. Copied 50GB of files from my Macbook Pro in only a couple of minutes. So far they've been very reliable. Highly recommended!!
