Decent upgrade from flatscreen upgrade
Moved from a 27" 60hz 1080p flatscreen to this. I did purchase on sale @ $249 and most likely would not have picked it at current $349 price.
Office work is so much easier using with 1440p. Brightness and colors out of the box were good. Gaming is solid, so far no issues or complaints. Though it didn't impress me, more affirmed the budget upgrade.
I'll update if there are any issues but so far I'd recommend to a friend.

On Sale. Amazing
Got this 27in 1440p, 165hz, 1ms Acer Monitor on sale for $280 total including tax. To me that was a steal and the monitor has been flawless. No dead pixels or issues of any kind. Comes with both an HDMI and DP cord which is awesome. The stand is better than I thought it would be and actually has height adjustment. The frame of the monitor is light and doesn’t feel sturdy like my BenQ but as long as you don’t drop it, should never be an issue. The screen and quality are great, what’s not to like with 1440p, 165hz and 1 ms. Would def buy again if it goes on sale but I see it’s back to $350.

Dead pixels, horrendous input switching, and ghosting
Decent high-end gaming monitor for the price, but negligent quality control, ghosting, and bad UX hold it back from being good.
I bought two of these; both had dead very obvious clusters of dead pixel on arrival. I could forgive a monitor with dead pixels slipping through QC every now and then; but two in a row just speaks to their complete disregard for quality.
I'm also not a fan of the multi-button control scheme; I would much rather a more intuitive multi-directional knob. Then there's the ordeal of input switching. It's basic UX to know that a common action like switching inputs should require just one button press; but instead you have to navigate their OSD with multiple different button presses to get it done.
While playing games I also noticed a halo around some of the models during fast motion; running the UFO ghosting test, I confirmed that the monitor has horrendous ghosting for fast movement.
I'll be returning this and buying from a brand that actually delivers good products.

Colors smear when moving
I get major motion blur and ghosting on most things that aren't testing sites. Even scrolling through my steam library all the colors and stuff mush and blend together. Anything black moving on a lighter background leaves a very visible trail. That almost looks intentional but it's not the game it's the monitor. As most monitors the built-in settings are a pain to navigate with the button layout. The most settings have little to no impact on the actual performance of the monitor. The one setting that this monitor markets itself for makes it extremely dark even on the lowest setting it makes the monitor about three times darker. And even raising the brightness will not fix that. That said the monitor looks very nice The colors seem good and everything Sharp when it's not moving no scratches or anything on the monitor itself and the rate of its curve is nice as it's not to distracting or annoying as I've never had a curved monitor before I don't know how I would like this one but it's pretty good. Only when standing up for viewing in a different angles do I really see that this thing is curved. I got it for a little less than 300 and I'd say it was probably worth it but A lot of games and videos don't support 1440p yet so I might have jumped the gun a little. Also trying to get rid of this blur that will even be on this site when scrolling up and down the black text will smear. Other than that very good.

Out of everything I purchased in the past couple of years, this was my BEST purchase! Fantastic monitor - highly recommend. No issues with it at all & made my games I play look so much better (honestly).

thought id give a try out with a curved monitor and im not really a fan of them. but this monitor looks and works great so if youre a fan of curved then this is a great buy

Really disappointed
Really disappointed. First off, this review is for the 27” WQHD, there are 3 different monitors on this product page so the reviews are hard to tell which one they are for. I have this hooked up to my new Xbox series x. The pros: great size for me, I like the curve, easily adjustable and the motion is great. The cons: as you can see in the pictures the light bleeding is terrible! I am no expert at all but I know the black should not look that blotchy at all. I have tried multiple settings and no matter what the light is horrible bleeding in from the outside. The build quality is not good... i tried to get it in a picture, as you can see at the top where the frame meets the body there is a big gap with light showing through, really disappointing how bad the lighting and blotchy-ness is. Sorry it’s not technical terminology!
