- + Однопластинник, следовательно должен быть надежнене

- - Винчестер сгорел вследствие перегрева. Компьютер был собран одной крупной и уважаемой компанией, тем не менее, они пренебрегли дополнительным охлаждением данного устройства, а из-за его (!)прямого возгарания во время работы(!) произошло короткое замыкание в цепи блока питания, а далее, всё по цепочке: на материнке полопались конденсаторы, сгорел Южный Мост и...

- + Это надежнсть, одно точно могу сказать я пользуюсь такими жескими уже почти 3 года. Собран RAID. Работают стабильно, на тот момент когда брал была хорошая модель.

Western Digital does not make low capacity hard drives like these anymore, so, right there, that tells you how old these drives are, even though they are shipped in new OEM packaging. If something happens to your drive and IF you can still get warranty service on it, WD will send a replacement drive that has a much larger capacity. (Last year, they sent me a 500GB one to replace an 80GB notebook drive.) The warranty begins when the drive was made, not when you bought it. The reason I said "IF" you can still get warranty service is because I bought two of these from this merchant, and when I registered them, one was already out of warranty and the other has a year left.I'm satisfied with my purchase, but buyers need to be aware as to what they are getting here.

I needed a good and fast boot drive for a client. I found this on other websites, but Amazon had a better price. I installed the OS on my client's PC and this little gem is doing the job nicely. I highly recommend WD to everyone. I have been using their drives for over 25 years.

I ordered 4 of these hard drives. I use them as primary boot drives. The reason I select smaller boot drives is that it allows for easier backup and restore. I received these in only 2 days after ordering. Their processing and shipping protocol is excellent!I was worried, however, upon opening the carton and finding the SATA drives lying on the bottom of the box with only the anti-static bag. Inflated packing material laid on top of the drives to nearly fill the carton, but the drives clearly were not secured properly and movement could be heard within. So I have to give a poor rating for care in packaging.Having said that, I inspected the drives immediately and formatting proved flawless.I would certainly buy from this company again. (Please improve packing policy, thanks!)

The drive arrived on time and in excellent condition.Had no problem installing the drive and loading the operating system.The drive is quiet, fast and responds well to my DELL system.I thank the seller for the way he responded to my order. Very professional.Thanks.

I bought 2-drives for the SYS C:/drive on 2-desktops/just to add a fresh product line--previously I had WD-800AAJD 80-GB/these went in perfectly and my 2-OS's loaded exactly..even more easily than with the old HDD(800JJAD)..which has been XP or Vista OS's..excellent price..Western Digital is my preferred product for SYS. C:/drive.

This is the first new WD drive i've ever had to exchange. It started getting bad sectors within a month of installation. (The sectors were probably under the pagefile. So, i noticed it when Windows 7-64 started crashing/blue-screen with Kernel_Data_Inpage_Error 0x0000007A.)Performance remained good.Amazon is doing a 1-day replacement shipment. So, we'll see how the replacement does.

Purchased this drive to replace the Seagate that crashed which contained my OS! So far it is doing what it is suppose to do and I hope that it stays that way.

I almost bought 4 for a NAS setup thinking it was 1TB for a great price. Turns out to be only 80GB drives when I went to check whether it is on my NAS drive compatibility list. Amazon needs to correct the title.
