It’s very good chopper! Don’t even have second thoughts before buying it. Blades are super sharp. The plastic body is pretty rough.

The must have kitchen item. Love it and it makes chopping so simple and easy. Just three to five pulls and it does the job easily. I love Tefal for their quality. Their stream iron, the non stick wear and now this. My kitchen and home are tefal branded.

Après quatre ans de service ou je devrais dire de travaux forcés ( je cuisine beaucoup, famille de cinq personnes)mon ancien hachoir m’a lâché, la ficelle s’était bloqué alors j’ai tout de suite cherché sur Amazon le même car je ne pouvais plus m’en passer et il me le fallait en urgence ! Car je ne savais plus faire sans. Au final celui-ci est encore meilleur :
Lames très coupantes (coupe plus rapidement)
Système de blocage du couvercle (même si on tire fort et le bocal se retourne il ne se déverse pas chose qui met déjà arrivé avec l’ancien).
La transparence du bocal effet cristal permet de mieux voir la taille des aliments pour savoir exactement à quel moment s’arrêté de tirer sans devoir ouvrir.
N’écrase pas les aliments et même la tomate « à condition qu’elle soit à chair ferme ».
Agréablement surprise pour le prix qui est presque moitié moins cher que celui que j’ai pris en grande surface il y’a 4ans!
Très pratique, ne prends pas de place, personnellement j’ai toujours lavé le bocal et la lame au lave vaisselle et le couvercle à la main.
En bref rapidité du hachoir électrique et efficacité du couteau et de la planche.
Fait partie des indispensables en cuisine.

Purchased the Tefal Easy Pull over alternatives due to the reviews and Im not disappointed. The 900ml size is great for larger portions but easy enough to store. Small rubber feet to prevent slipping but you do need to hold it down firmly to counter the force of the pull cord. The key is to pull firmly and quickly, being careful about it doesn't chop the food. The lid twists on to lock in place and the blades are very sharp.
If like me you have kids which can be a little fussy if they see a courgette or mushroom on the plate this chopper is a quick way to finely chop food down to hide say in a pasta sauce, its much quicker than chopping finely with a knife (and I have good knife skills!) It does work better when chopping small for overall even sized pieces. Hard carrots can be blitzed in seconds with a few pulls. Even for large protions simply fill chop empty an fill again. When doing a pasta sauce for speed I used to use a bigger food processor, but never enjoyed the clean up. This makes if much quicker as just rince the blades carefully as super sharp and then rince out the plastic container.
Its great if you want a quick salsa, just throw in some cucumber, tomato, onion and herbs etc and in a few seconds you have a nice finely chopped consistency, add some oil and red wine vinegar and you have a healthy side dish to a meal in as little as 3 minutes. Used for a few weeks now with various veg and fruit and its handled all with ease, the electric food processor hasnt been used since, even when making a meal for four its easy enough to empty and refill for larger portions and the time saved cleaning up is a big bonus. With a decent guarantee its been a great purchase.

I’ve bought every conceivable gadget on the market to make chopping onions less of a chore. I suffer stingy eyes for hours afterwards. NOT anymore!! This is the best ever, you won’t be disappointed. Cut the onion into Quarters pop them in, secure the lid and 3 pulls later perfectly chopped.

Notre précédent hachoir nous ayant abandonné après de longues années de fidélité, il fallait lui trouver un remplaçant. Cet appareil nous sert régulièrement donc je voulais éviter les produits de marque inconnue à la durabilité incertaine et, vu le prix très étudié de ce modèle, et mon bon sentiment vis-à-vis de Tefal, j'ai foncé.
Le format est plus important que notre précédent modèle (d'une célèbre marque de plastique vendus en réunion...) ce qui sera utile pour ne pas avoir à faire plusieurs mixages de suite dès qu'on a une quantité de produits un peu importante. Il parait au moins aussi solide que le précédent : les plastiques ne semble pas trop fins.
L'ergonomie est juste parfaite avec un hachoir qui ne bouge pas du tout (même sur plan de travail légèrement humide) pendant qu'on l'utilise et une poignée assez grande pour une excellente prise en main tout en ayant le bon goût de se replier parfaitement contre le couvercle du hachoir, donc pas de place perdue. La lame semble d'excellente qualité et hache plus ou moins fin (selon le but recherché) en quelques instants.
Le lavage est très rapide ce qui est un atout pour un ustensile de cuisine qui va travailler plusieurs fois par semaine : entretien simplifié signifie qu'on n'hésitera jamais à le sortir du placard (ne le rangez pas trop loin parce qu'il sera plus souvent sur le plan de travail qu'au fond du placard)
Pas encore d'avis sur la résistance dans le temps (je reviendrai ici dans un an pour le dire) mais pour l'instant je suis très satisfait de cet achat et je conseille cet appareil pour toutes les cuisines (même si vous êtes déjà équipés comme nous de robot ou autres).

I read reviews of many different manual food processors before deciding to buy this one. I made salsa in 1/4 of the time I did when I chopped everything manually before. Instructions are good enough. The blades are protected & locked in a plastic casing. As long as I know which part of the rotor is fixed or movable, and with caution, I don't think I will ever get cut. Will try nuts & meat later, and hope it will work as advertised. So much more convenient to use than my electric food processor, and washing is a breeze. Fingers crossed, the blades & the mechanisms will last.

Après quelques semaines d'utilisation, le bol du hachoir est complètement fendu en deux endroits. Je suis très déçue : vu la marque et le prix payé, c'est inadmissible ! Voyez les photos. Je tiens à préciser que je n'ai pas DU TOUT forcé en mettant trop de nourriture à l'intérieur, ou en mettant de la nourriture trop dure : j'ai utilisé le hachoir dans des conditions tout à fait normales, pour couper quelques tomates, poivrons, oignons, et quelques noix tendres (et jamais je n'ai forcé en tirant sur la ficelle alors que cela semblait résister). Le plastique utilisé pour le bol est dur et cassant. Il vaudrait mieux utiliser un plastique moins transparent mais plus souple... Bref, surtout n'achetez pas malgré le fait que :

We've had a few disappointing electric processors over the years; I picked this up to tide us over while comparing more expensive (huge, worktop monstrosity) electric ones. Wanted to give it a bit of use before reviewing and we've actually decided not to bother with a motorised processor. This robust little guy does everything we need and is extremely satisfying to use; there's something about the manual yanking of the rope (via ergonomic handle) that makes all the tension of the day melt away. Have successfully chopped nuts, garlic, herbs, tomatoes, vegetables and onions in it.
It is pretty simple to clean; I guess you want to avoid getting water inside the lid/rope mechanism, but that can be avoided by gently wiping rather than dunking the whole thing in the basin. The bottom slicer (plastic one) tends to drop off during cleaning but can be easily re-clipped into place. And, of course, being manual, he even works in the apocalypse.
I've rarely had as much enthusiasm about a kitchen item as I have about this little chopping beast; highly recommend.

great to use for fine chopping. Medium sizes harder to achieve as the size is less uniform. I dropped the bowl when putting it in a top cupboard and it fell 7 ft to a tile floor. Broken. I liked it well enough to buy a whole new replacement, and it had been a present for my husband. I have spare top bits and blade now. Still feel miffed though.

Makes light work of chopping finely and some food processing, without having to get the electric processor out.
I was sceptical after using one of those push down choppers a few years ago, but this style, pull mechanism is much better.
We bought this size after using the slightly smaller version for a few months, but both are brilliant. This size is ideal for chopping a few things at once. I usually use it to chop the onion, carrots and celery very finely for sauces. It doesn't have any issue chopping through an onion in 2 or 3 pulls of the handle.
It's also ideal for things like salsa and guacamole, and I have even used it for houmous.
It comes apart easily for washing, but be careful as the blades are incredibly sharp.
My mum sometimes struggles with wrist pain but tried this out and found it very easy to use!
Overall, very happy with this.

This is the most amazing gadget! No need to get out the food processor. Small, sits on work surface and chops everything with a few pulls of the string. Blades are really sharp and the clever "lifting blade" on the bottom mean you can chop small quantities. I use for garlic, onions, herbs, breadcrumbs, salad dressings... the list is endless. Really easy to clean. I have recommended this to no end of people.

Nach viel Ärgerei mit einem Multizerkleinerer aus dem Lidl für 3€ dachte ich mir, jetzt muss man was gescheites her. Der Tefal Multizerkleinerer ist der Perfekte Helfer für die Küche. Er zerkleinert Zwiebeln, Möhren, Tomaten und und und. ohne es zu quetschen oder zu zerdrücken.
Auf den Bild ist eine Zwiebel nach 5 mal ziehen zu sehen. Ich würde sagen, so ein Ergebnis bekommt man mit keinem Messer und erst recht nicht so schnell hin.
Die Zwei Messer sind sehr scharf und aus Rostfreiem Edelstahl. Haptik und Wertigkeit sind überragend.
Fazit: Absolute Kaufempfehlung.

I was initially skeptical of the food chopper because I thought 'if it's so great how come it's not more common?' But the good reviews won me over and I decided to give it a try.
It's fantastic. The best part is that I no longer have to chop onions which sting my eyes really badly. Obviously it doesn't chop uniformly and it can be less good with smaller items like garlic cloves, but it's so handy - just throw stuff in and give it a few pulls.
If I had one complaint it's that it's not that easy to get all of the chopped veg out of the bowl part after.

This morning, my husband tried to remove the plastic cover intended to protect the blades but he cut his fingers badly during the removing process. The bottom parts has to be removed before you can take out the cover. After removal, the bottom parts has to be put back. I suggest that the blades be protected with hard paper cover, just insert them on the blades and can be removed easily. The same 500 ml manual chopper has that design with hard paper cover on the blades. Can't give any actual performance overall rating right now, has to settle a bit with the badly cut finger. The existing rating is for the design of the blades cover.

First bought this product last November and it has revolutionised this chore in the kitchen.
