Great guitar!-minus a strap button
This is my 5th acoustic and first 12 string. My only complaint is that it does not have the strap button on the neck. Not even drilled for it. I'm a novice, so I was intimidated going to 12 strings, but for playing chords, it is set up so nicely (low action), and so well made, that it is a breeze to play. I have always played with kind of a death grip on the neck, so I haven't had to increase string pressure compared to my sixers (Taylor, Fender, Idyllwild, and Orangewood). Finger picking is harder though, for me anyway, but I will get it. Plays great, sounds fantastic, and is beautiful. Tuners are plenty good, holds tune well. Workmanship is very good. I can't put it down. Can't stop looking at it. I just wish I could put a strap on it. Come on Takamine, where's my strap button?
Update: I have dated a lot of guitars. I am going to marry this one I think.

Beautiful sound and projection!
First! I love this instrument! It is a beautiful instrument to look at. The action, sound, and projection is excellent! On the downside, the instrument arrived damaged. I’m not sending it back. I don’t want to risk another damaged instrument and the wait time involved. The instrument was poorly package and I’m a little shocked how thin the layering of protection was. I will still rate the instrument at five stars.

False advertisement by instrument pro
The Takamine guitar is great. I give it five stars. What I disliked was the false advertisement done by instrument pro. The picture shows both a guitar and a guitar case which is what I wanted . I saw the same guitar with case on Amazon for $742.99 . I went with instrumentpro because of the better deal. I would have bought 742.99 instead if I had known the guitar did not come with the case . Shame on you instrumentpro for manipulating the buyer. There is honest business men and women out there. Instrument pro is not one of them. Very disappointed in instrument-pro.

Great Playing Guitar
This is a great playing 12 string guitar. It is on the big side with the Jumbo body so if you're on the smaller/shorter side I would play test one. The action is really low and sounds great. Very satisfied!
