This mic is fantastic, I used it for my auctions on the x factor this year, and also in my live audition! I would really redeemed this to anyone who doesn't want to spend too much money!

If your voice is average to begin with then this will do you fine. However, it does distort when you belt the notes out. But for a cheap product to begin with ... it's OK

Worked well enough with the karaoke system but, in comparison to the other microphone I was using, it didn't appear as loud or as good quality sound

I've done thousands of recordings, especially recordings with condenser mics and other dynamic mics in the high end range. I brought this as a joke almost and I was actually impressed with this. I just plugged it into my computer, increase the mic input via sounds (control panel) and VOILA! it works great.
-This mic is sensitive which is great!
-Can pick up a decent range for non-professional usage...was even able to record some songs as a male vocalist.
-Good construction (plastic) and sturdy on/off switch and mechanism---neodymium magnet.
The grille is hard and I'm sure it will last for a while.
--CONS---
-It has a 1/4'' plug attached to it...unless you have a converter to XLR or you cut it and put a XLR input on it, you
won't be getting the full quality.
-It does feel cheap in a sense of material being plastic.
-Not the best for recordings, but if you were desperate. OK for live.
OVERALL---
Great investment, I won't be using it much since I can't really hook it up to my preamp or mixer, but I might give it away as a gift for someone who needs a mic for talking or singer (home recordings but ideally karaoke)

I ordered this microphone about five days ago on a Wednesday night and I received it today on a Monday. So very fast shipping, then again it was shipped from the US where I also live. I honestly don't think there are any downsides to microphone. Well, for the price you're paying. this exact microphone was at Best Buy for 24.99 and I got it here including all appropriate fees for around $11. I tested it as soon as I got it, using a guitar amp and it seemed to work perfectly. It's made of decent plastic, but I wouldn't be rough with it, just in case. So overall a great deal for what was spent. I'll add more onto this review later on, when I use the Mic more heavily.

The microphones have a lot of handling noise, and the cables can't be replaced. For the price they're the best thing around, but spend just a little more and you can get something much better.

This microphone was previously reviewed by others as being "non-functioning", or "couldn't hear it", but I know why... this is actually a LOW IMPEDANCE dynamic microphone... this means it is NOT for use as a computer mic, which requires a computer-powered CONDENSER microphone. This also means that when you use it with an amplifier, it requires a pre-amp... thats what that "gain" knob is for! Used properly, this microphone is a VERY HIGH QUALITY product, and I highly reccomend it.

The price was crazy inexpensive. Thought quality would reflect that, however, these are very crip microphones. I am pleased that I was able to get two on-line for the price of one in my local store.

I purchased this mic for use with a karaoke machine, it sounds very clear, the wire feels very sturdy and although the price was cheap the mic doesn't look it. I am very happy.

I use this for at home youtube video recording. Got it on amazon for 12 bucks! What a steal......no interference, minimal to no impedance, no hiss - very druable. Would recommend to anyone for daily rigged use
