Simple to use, chargers very fast!
This charger does exactly what it claims to do, it charges Ryobi one+ system batteries and does it quickly. I actually bought compatible batteries for the Ryobi one+ system and have one genuine battery and this charger handles them all without any issues. I was surprised at how quickly the batteries charge to 100%. The unit looks really small in the images but was actually quite big compared to what I expected. It looks nice and feels quite heavy duty and well built. I was disappointed to see the other negative reviews about this product and hope this will last, but only time will tell. I will most definitely be updated my review if anything goes wrong! For now, I can happily recommend this charger.
Helpful Info: The non Ryobi brand battery I bought from Amazon is labelled as 'Biswaye'. I got 2 x 5.0AH batteries for £50 all in, which is significantly cheaper than the cost for genuine Ryobi ones. I cannot vouch for their longevity but they have served me well over the last two months.

should be standard
There is little point in selling an appliance without a battery. I got the 5Ah battery and charger which I must admit came at a price, no discount, it appeared to me to be making money on both sales. You would think the battery & charger would be sold at cost, but it appeared I got 'screwed' on both sales. Not sure if I would recommend.

Best value Ryobi super charger on the net at time of purchase, robust durable construction and high quality design and finish, whilst the battery charger does charger more quickly than the next version down it doesn't charge as quickly as claimed, temperature, condition and age of battery are variable factors that will affect this among other things.
I'm not sure that I really needed a faster charge as I have several batteries that can be charged when not in use so there is a constant churn of being used, waiting for use and being charged, I did need to buy a new charger and the price was competitive even compared to lesser versions.
Happy with the purchase and it's functionality.

durability of product
Have a ryobi cordless lawnmower and strimmer where after 3 years the battery were showing signs of end of life so decided to buy both a new battery and charger,took no heed of the reviews as our current mower and strimmer were only showing problems of running flat as do all rechargeable batteries over time many reviews stated that the product was not up to the mark but basing it on the past experience I took no notice DO NOT BUY THESE USELESS PRODUCTS

So much faster than the standard charger!
Fast charger, so much better than the standard ryobi charger it's like night and day. An absolute must if you're charging the large capacity 5amp batteries, as the original charger took hours for one battery. This charger managed to charge my 5A battery in an hour, allowing me to get on with the job instead of waiting on chargers.

very happy with this
I bought this along with a nail gun and a 5.0aH battery. It's a very solid unit with fairly detailed status on charging, showing you where you're flat, at 80% or 100%. It charges the 5.0aH battery very quickly, i think within 2 hrs from flat. It didn't get hot. It's quite big, so it takes up some space, but it's very effective in doing its job so I can only recommend it.

Compact andlight. So far, so good.
Bought to replace the one I got with my original Ryobi set, because that was no longer charging batteries. Looked through lots of reviews and most of the available replacements had varying scores based on mixed performance. Settled on this one for its compact size and so far it has been fine, although it hasn’t been used more than half a dozen times since purchase.

Time saver
Realy fast chrger, I had the slow one that came with my combi drill and had to make sure my battery was charged the day before I use it. I used it on my totally flat 4 amp battery and it was fully charged in a tad over 40 minutes

Cordless this isn't. A lie it is
It is not cordless as advertised. Its no diferent to the other chargers other than charging rate. Ryobi and Amazon should be ashamed to use the word cordless its just a clever piece of work on photoshop to show this as if it were cordless. My job is a product photographer but calling this as cordless is a lie.

Good well made charger
Excellent charger for Ryobi one fit batteries. Will take any of the batteries that are designed for the Ryobi one system even OEM. Clearly shows status of the charge and controls. This is a smart charger and provides recharging as needed and doesn't over charge.

Quick Charge
Charges a lot quicker than the older Nicad batteries. Had to purchase along with a LI-ON +1 battery for my older drill & jigsaw who's batteries were knackered. Just a pity it doesn't fit in the original carry case that contains jigsaw & drill. Ah well, better than having tools not being able to use due to defunct.

Tad pricey but overall am happy
For a 1 battery quick charger this thing is big. Charges quickly my original and after market. Bit pricey but if you already have 1 or 2 other batteries this is a decent option. More than just a few in hand. Then I would go for its bigger multi battery charger

its Dead
Ive got several ryobi products and needed a charger to charge up the batteries.So i bought this mother.Its nicely made, well built and solid, but alas, after charging the battery three times, its dead. not a glimmer, not a light nothing,ive changed the fuse in the plug, but zilch.for £50 im not impressed.And you have to register the product within 30 days on the website or it wont let you register it.Awaiting comms with ryobi.

Broke within 6 months... warranty repair requires you to fund a return to China
Stopped charging after only a few attempts. Quick response to a warranty inquiry, but the battery has to be sent back to China for them to repair it, which is nearly as much as the device itself cost.

Charges quickly
There's no a lot to say, I bought this because it wasn't much more than a slow charger. It charges quickly and the display shows when a battery is over 80% which is helpful.

Not much experience to make any far fetching conclusions so far
Used only once so far — the initial charging of a new battery. Worked excellently: fast charging, neither the charger nor the battery became noticeably warmer. As far as I know Li-Ion chemistry this is a good sign. To be true the battery seemed to stay at room temperature.

Bought this as not happy with older Ryobi chargers, always iffy. This one seems a good product, charged 6 batteries with no problems. About time Ryobi made a charger that keeps up with the good quality tools.

Dont buy.
Piece of rubbish used it to charge my brand new 5.0 AH battery once worked fine, put my battery on charge yesterday nothing constant red light cant find anywhere to return under my consumer rights.
