Ich habe mir dieses Mikrofon aufgrund guter Rezensionen auf YouTube zugelegt. Ich nutze es selbst für Videoaufnahmen und für Telekonferenzen. Nachdem ich allerdings jetzt weiß, wie gut dieses Mikrofon ist, werde ich wohl auch Hörbücher damit aufnehmen.
Ich hatte 11 Jahre lang ein Samson G-Track und das Grundrauschen dieses alten Eisens war der Grund, nach Alternativen zu suchen. Dabei stieß ich auf einen Youtuber, der das Rode NT-USB direkt live nach dem Auspacken in seiner Sendung einsetzte. Keine Möglichkeit, irgendetwas nachzubearbeiten und ich konnte selbst mit guten Kopfhörern kein Grundrauschen wahrnehmen. Beindruckend! Gekauft!
Der gute Eindruck bestätigte sich bei mir auch nach dem Kauf. Grundrauschen? Ja, aber nur wenn man den Nachverstärker im PC auf über 95 Prozent stellt. Halt nein! Das war mein Silent PC. Würden die drei Lüfter nicht dieses leichte, kaum wahrnehmbare Rauschen erzeugen, würde das Rode Mikrofon auch nichts wahrnehmen, ohne dass ich spreche.
Wer Hörbücher aufnehmen möchte und keine Filter einsetzen möchte, findet hier ein richtig gutes Mikrofon dafür.
Aber auch im normalen Einsatz überzeugt mich das Rode. Plug & Play funktioniert hier par excellence. Kein Einstellen nötig. Einstecken und los geht's!
Der mitgelieferte Tischständer ist nett und hat einen Gummiabsorber eingebaut. Ich nutze es allerdings mit einem Mikrofonarm. Mit meinem alten Samson hatte ich immer etwas Schwierigkeiten, weil dessen Gewicht so groß war. Mit dem Rode ist es dagegen ein Traum.
Die Benutzerfreundlichkeit bringt auch einen kleinen Nachteil mit sich. Das Mikrofon hat keinen eigenen Gain-Regler. Wie laut es ist, kontrolliert man über die Soundcontrol-Einstellungen am PC/Mac. Das mag der eine oder andere Profi nicht so mögen. Mir persönlich ist es nicht so wichtig.
Soll man dieses Mikrofon empfehlen? Klar! Bestimmt gibt es bessere Mikrofone. Aber bei dem Preis spielt das Rode erste Geige und klingt dabei ziemlich gut.

Wasn't sure what to expect with this as it's so new that there's very little info about it on the net, but I'm glad I gave it a chance! The build of the microphone is nice - got a good weight to it and feels solid and compact. Clever magnetic base and appears to have some kind of suspension inside as desk noises aren't too prevalent when resting.
But most importantly it SOUNDS good. Well balanced, and clear, with a decently low noise floor. It's perhaps not as 'smooth' as some microphones, but if you're the kind of person to notice you probably wouldn't be looking at a USB microphone.
The USB aspect is great too - just plug it in and iff you go!
Definitely recommended and would buy again. Rode has delivered as usual!

I've spent many months deliberating on a new microphone having wasted far too many hours fiddling with analogue jack microphones. I only needed this for video calls for both work and social so I didn't want to go down the more expensive route of XLR mics with a separate USB interface but I wanted something better than the poor one on the webcam I had. I'd looked at dozens of 'cheap' (£40) USB ones from China but was never really convinced I wouldn't be disappointed. When I saw this on a YouTube video I immediately recognised the RØDE brand as a quality brand. It looked simple but good quality. Not cheap, but then you get what you pay for.
I've only had this a few hours but it's already clear it's great quality, very simple to use (just plugged it in on Windows 10 with the supplied USB cable) and clearly a well made quality item (it's HEAVY!). The first work call I went on people immediately noticed the quality. Very happy with my purchase, I expect these to be out of stock in no time once word gets out so if you want one, get one quick!

I'm quite impressed! I bought it for my iPad gig (Cubasis etc.), which I tend to use in different rooms, and in the future I plan to take with me during holidays. I have a small plastic box for all the iPad accessories: cables, headphones, dongle, USB hub etc. Because of its dimensions and shape, this mic nicely fits into it!
As for the sound, I own the NT1-A, and to my ears they sound very similar. Some online reviews say they're not the same, which is understandable, because they're differently shaped mics. There are sacrifices made in order to produce such a small mic. But I'd say you probably want to sacrifice the same response curve for the small footprint and mobility. Additionally, I use it mainly to create new ideas, not the final versions of songs. It's more than perfect for this use.
The mic feels very robust and is heavy. When I plugged it into my iPad, its gain was just right from the start, and I never felt a need to tweak it. The experience is totally plug and play. It plays really well channel strip of Cubasis: the default noise gate and compressor settings. It connects to my iPad Pro (2017) via 1. powered Atolla USB hub and 2. lightning to USB camera adapter.
To Rode: there is a huge market behind the iOS musicians community. I think this is a perfect mike for "on the go", but until I actually tried it, I had doubts. I think you should market it as such, make more "on the go" videos, show how to use it with an iPad, how to pack it to backpack and carry around.. Your potential buyers are really looking for this type of information.

There are multiple features loaded in the small packet which I found after 1 week use of this Rode's little master.
1. Robust construction - Built quality, weight and regidness is at its best. Mic stand received with Mic is of very good quality and having magnet inside which is an additional feature. By using metal table one can reduce noise due to vibrations.
2. Looks - Amazing finish, Stylish and rich look.
3. User friendly - No driver required for PC. It automatically identifies mic once connected. It works smoothly with Audacity.
4. Live video recording - One can record Live covers using this mic. U just need to connect this mic to cellphone/ tablet/ DSLR using OTG cable that's it. For cellphones one need to download 'open camera' or similar video recording app and in settings you have to select Audio recording - Through external microphone option.
5. Video/Audio conferencing - Best mic for Microsoft Teams/ Zoom/ Duo meetings.

I bought this to improve my audio when web streaming for work, family and friends. It makes a huge difference compared to the built in mics on laptops and webcams. You do need to position the mic fairly close, so the supplied desk stand is a bit low, I bought a boom arm which makes it easier to position. I usually have the mic in shot, but it's fairly unobtrusive. I also use the monitoring feature with headphones, again it works much better that monitoring through the computer. Build quality is excellent, it really feels like a professional product. Don't forget you can register for a free 2 years extended warranty.

My best investment so far ! I use this for professional audio recording for songs. Works brillaintly in mac / pc / phones/ ipad .. all ! The inbuilt zero latency monitoring is great. Though this has inbuilt pop filter, for additional clarity n avoiding blows..its better to use it with pop filter. For phones n ipad u will need OTG adapter to convert USB to ur device type input.
Its a condenser cardoid so it will pick some of ur environment n room reverb. Basic acoustically treated rooms are ideal for any condenser mic. If u cant treat the room, reduce pickup volume on mic to 40% n record in slightly closer proximity. Or else opt for dynamic directional mic for clean sound withour having to worry abt noise n room acouatics.

I purchased this as a replacement for my 2012 Blue Yeti mic which sadly passed away last week. However it was always a good thing as I was looking for an excuse to buy this. And I love it!
A little hesitant at first believing I would lose finer control over my sound which the Yeti allows. But this captures sounds wonderfully. I mainly use it to record acoustic guitar, vocals, and readings. It always acts well as a mic for discord and gaming. Everyone says I come through clear which is brilliant.
Would highly recommend especially for the ease of use and price.

I got a chance to try this item prior to my order being delivered. It looks nice, feels nice, but sounds nasally and unclear. I didn't like it in comparison to other microphones out there (i.e. it's very own parent, the RØDE NT, and the Audio Technica AT2020USB+); I cancelled my order based on this.

The first thing to notice when you get it out of the box, is the build quality is very good.
On connection to the PC, via a USB C (plus point) was trouble free. The thing to note is that on connection there are two references; one is for the microphone and the other is the audio out (via the headphone socket).
In use, plenty of volume from the microphone on the desk when speaking at about 2 feet away and is nice and clear without any changes in the windows settings. You can use a mic stand if you want and you don't need a pop filter as it is built in to the microphone.
Good value for the money.

Отличный стартовый микрофон для начинающих стримеров. USB-подключение - настоящее спасение для кошелька и мозгов, когда приходится думать о покупке предусилителя, аудиокарты и кучи XLR-проводов. Отличная магнитная стойка для установки на пачку книг или на стол. Сам не пользовался, потому как использую пантограф, но приятно удивило. Есть Директ-мониторинг для калибровки положения и Jack-3.5mm для подключения наушников.
Микрофон очень хороший, потому что это RØDE. У них вообще никогда не бывает проблем со звуком.
Кстати, если вас по какой-то причине не устроил дизайн, посмотрите в сторону старшего брата NT-USB.
Если же Вам нужна панель эффектов для голоса - идейное продолжение NT-USB mini - XCM-50. Тот же дизайн, но кнопка Direct красная, и есть встроенная панель эффектов голоса.
