I've got a little over 100 of these phones deployed throughout our organization. We use a Switchvox setup, and these pair pretty easily with that. Overall they work pretty well. I've had 2 or 3 fail with mechanical problems (mostly the keypad) which isn't terrible. A few of the power supplies have also failed, but with as many as we have that is pretty much inevitable.The reason I'm no longer ordering this model is that the internal network switch is terrible. Many of our offices only have a single network jack, so the built in switch seemed really convenient. I knew these would step down our gigabit network to 100mb speeds, but that was worth the convenience. However, these fail all the time. Worse still, they don't necessarily fail 100%. They just cause hard to diagnose issues with network traffic, file transfers, group policy, etc. Pushing traffic to the connected PC (even local traffic, it's not a VOIP bandwidth issue) can degrade call quality.Now, if staff request a new phone, I'm ordering the Polycom - Polycom SoundPoint IP 320 or Polycom SoundPoint IP 321 with Power Supply. These phones are exactly the same except they don't have a built in switch. I'm trying to pull new cable to all of our offices, but if I need to drop a phone in an office where I don't have enough jacks I'm installing a stand alone 5 port switch like the TRENDnet 5-Port Unmanaged Gigabit GREENnet Switch (5 x 10/100/1000Mbps Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDIX Gigabit Ethernet Ports) TEG-S50g (Black Metal) to handle the switching.This phone does work fine if you don't use the built-in switch, so I'm not replacing the ones I have unless they fail. There's just no reason to get them over the 320 or 321.

This phone works great, good quality, great sound and nice appearance. But the description did not shows anywhere that It did not came with power supply, so you need to look for it after you receive your product, costing you mor money and time.

Hello: I bought 7 of these phones and 1 Polycom IP 650 and they are excellent phones. Is true that they do not come with power adapter but the best thing is buy a POE switch of 12 or 24 POE port and dont need to be bother by power adapter for any phones. I highglight recommend it. Thats what i did for my polycom phones and if my business keep growing up you save money because you dont need to buy power adapter for phones.Regards.

I've been through a number of IP phones (desk phones, cordless phones, softphones). While they had a lot of features and attractive pricing, I found them lacking the audio quality / stability for serious use, especially when using speakerphone function.Of course, the Cisco IP phones (not the lower end "Cisco Linksys" ones) that my employer uses have high quality audio, but they cost $300 and if you are a home user, Cisco provides no software/firmware, which was a deal killer for me.So I tried Polycom, which is a reputed name. Fortunately, Polycom seem to support small users better. This phone came with a WebUI that let me configure all settings I needed and they let you download new firmware directly from their website.This phone DOES NOT COME with a power supply. It requires Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE). So I had to purchase a $30 Power Over Ethernet Injector from Amazon that plugs into my ethernet cable and powers this phone. Annoying.But when I got everything setup, I was amazed by the audio quality. This phone has TOP quality audio. I couldn't believe that on the same internet connection, the same VOIP provider, the same codec (G.729ab), this phone could deliver such great audio. And it has a high quality (full duplex) speakerphone.This phone rocks. I wish I had purchased this first and saved myself the money I spent on all those lower-end phones and softphones.I'll purchase a Polycom again in a hearbeat after the great experience with this phone.

bought this phone cuz l use them in the office and work great, now, just bought 2 from amazon and cant use them cuz they dont come with the power adapter, simply ridiculous...
