Quality & Performance Worth every penny !! Go for it blindly ..
bought it for Rs.925 , i used a steel body iron before which made my mind think for the plastic to be cheap material for an iron box, but once i got the Philips HI114 handson, it completely changed my thought.. excellent build quality, teflon coated sole ,led indicator, no wonder its fast heating as it's 1000 watt. very handy for any cloths to iron. its around 6 months ,no issues so far.Philips always Quality & Performance. Worth every penny !! Go for it blindly ..

More than a year usage review
It works! But coating is already worn out. Wire has unthreaded and insulation wires exposed. Very poor built quality and fit n finish. There are better options. Only electronics works as for Philips quality standards.

Worst experience
Received a faulty piece. Didn't last for an year.
Unable to get this replaced from any of the authorized service center. Amazon executives not responding to the calls.
Worst service. Please don't buy.

Buy at your own risk
This is by far the worst order I have ever made in amazon.product worked amazingly,for 2 days and then started facing dangerous issues.the moment I plugged this in switch board,my main got tripped.i tried in two to three places and same result.i managed to switch it on the other day and heard some crackling sound and smoke came out of the product and I had to immediately unplug.Thank god for saving me and my house from getting electrocuted by this third grade product.

BEST IRON EVER
Well what to say ... Purchased one in 2009.. used 10 years without any problem .. perfect results Everytime... Light weight. .. easy to use... Now afetr 10 yers I purchased once again.. very Happy with this PHILIPS IRON... Old one is also working properly ... Sold on OLX...

Bad Construction
Conked off within 10.5 months. Have changed the heading from bad durability to bad construction as when the technician came , he found lots of small linen or clothe particles inside the iron which was creating the problem. When asked how this material got in, he had no reply saying it happens.
Though the technician came on the same day or next day as the iron was under warranty.

Iron that doesn’t generate required heat
I went by the reviews and purchased this Iron.
But I found it to be an below average product. Even for normal cotton clothes, I have to keep it in extreme max position, for proper ironing. Not generating sufficient heat. Also the plate is prone to scratches. I have attached photos. Please don’t buy this. Check out other options available

Perfect Buy!
It has been a year, I have been using this iron. I was confused between the american gold plating and teflon plating. I went for the american gold plate. And I don't regret my decision. This is the best in the market in 750rs. Just the seller has to improve in the packing of the product. Otherwise, this is a perfect buy if you are looking for a quality dry iron.

Temperature control is nice. Also comes with auto power cut. Which I find very useful.

Best iron brand in the budget
I am totally satisfied with the no-frills approach to its simplistic design and aesthetic. Works with all types of fabric and the temperature control is responsive, the cord doesn't get in the way and heats adequately. Best used with a water spray separately for stiff crease removal and collar straightening and make sure to iron graphic tshirts inside out at low temps so as to not burn the print.
