EDIT: I absolutely recommend a leather strap on this particular watch, any complaints i had about this watch with the stock bracelet, completely disappeared after trying a decent leather strap on it.
Love the dial colour, goes from almost black in low light conditions to green and even blueish in the sun. Very accurate, maybe I was lucky, it gained 35s in two weeks, that brings it down to an average of 2.5/s fast per day. The watch wears small thanks to it's sleek case, it is on the bigger size on my 6 inch wrist but it fits well.
I accidentally changed the date on the watch between 8PM and 4AM once, the movement was not affected or damaged and continues to operate fine.
The brushed finishing on the case does not match the one on the bracelet, the bracelet has hollow end links and a pressed clasp, the hollow end links are quite thick so I wouldn't worry about their durability, they do however squeak for the first 3 days of wear, after the squeaking goes away just the mild rattling remains which I don't dislike.
My biggest gripe would be the clasp, it is very rattly and prone to stretching, I replaced mine with a milled clasp I found on ebay for £6.
The bracelet pulls hairs sometimes but it is comfortable, I wear mine slightly loose.
Overall happy with the watch, I do not expect £1000 watch quality in a £200 watch. You may be able to get better value for the money with some microbrands, specifically chinese ones but it is up to you to decide if that is watch you seek.

If you are in the marked for at a budget friendly automatic diver watch, this is one of the very best there is. If not the best (of course subjective opinion).
This watch is stunning to look at, easy to read and precise.
In-house movement. Manual wind and second-hand hacking.
Sapphire crystal is NOT the norm in this price range so the fact that this watch also has that is amazing.
Some points to note:
1. The bezel clicks are not as tight as on more expensive watches. Although it has 120 ticks.
2. The metal band is rattles alot and does not have solid end-links. Again, not expecting this at this price so I can't call it a con really. Swap out the band to something else and you are good to go.
I must once again stress that this watch blows my mind when it comes to bang for you buck! Look no further.
The king of budget automatic diver, the Seiko SKX, has in my opinion just been knocked of the throne.

Another solid watch from Orient, For once a watch I have purchased looks as good as it does on screen. Solid watch, great design. Very nice tone of Dark green on the bezel. Sapphire glass too. Cant fault this watch. Was looking at a steinhart prior to this but I think this is way better in terms of quality and looks. I actually think I prefer it to the MAKO 2..

Watch broke when I tried to set date and time, the little screw came off. I sent back and luckily money was refunded. It was supposed to be a birthday present, and I was left empty handed on the day. Extremely disappointed.

The watch is fine, it is as accurate as any automatic +5 secs?day or less. The bracelet fitted without adjustment and is comfortable. The dial and bezel colours are variable, the word is it will look green in the sunlight so roll on March. I haven't had it wet so cannot comment on water resistance. The crown is a bit awkward as there is very little thread to screw down on and as I have largeish fingers it is a bit of a fiddle to close it properly but I am a patient person. All in all not bad.

Questo Orient Kamasu ha davvero un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo, calibro F6922 molto ben regolato ed anche preciso. Il quadrante e la ghiera sono di un verde petrolio bellissimo che se non illuminati direttamente sembrano neri. Elementi luminescenti di buona durata e luminosità. L'unico aspetto che mi sento di criticare veramente è la dimensione della corona davvero troppo piccola rispetto alle spallette, con conseguente estrema difficoltà nelle regolazioni. Strano perché ho posseduto il Mako I per anni e non aveva questo problema. Davvero un peccato perché senza questo difetto sarebbe stato un orologio eccezionale. Anche il bracciale sebbene con finali vuoti e un po' leggero nella chiusura è tutto sommato di qualità accettabile.

L'orologio offre un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, col bracciale risulta pesante e dà l'impressione di un certo valore.
Il colore verde che ho scelto è molto scuro ed elegante, la lunetta unidirezionale gira con molta dolcezza. Sulla corona è riportato il logo del marchio che dà una certa impressione di attenzione al dettaglio.

Orient ist für zuverlässige, robuste Eigenkreationen bekannt. Vom Entwurf bis zur fertigen Uhr alles aus einer Hand!!! Hier nun die "Mako 3" in grün. Manufakturwerk F6922, 22 Steine, Sekundenstopp, Handaufzug, Gangreserve ca. 40 Std. Und das bei umwerfenden Aussehen-Herz was willst Du mehr!!! Gangabweichung nach 1 Woche +/- 2s. Wer natürlich einen Potenzverstärker braucht greift zur Röstizwiebel mit der Froschkrone. Soll er😃

Es un gran reloj, no hay nada que no me guste. Tiene un buen peso y se nota agradablemente solido al tocarlo. La pulsera es sólida, y no hace ruido al agitar el reloj. El cierre es el todos los divers, fácil de abrir y cerrar.
El bisel es de color verde oscuro, la esfera es de color azul tornasolado y NO es de color verde como se anuncia. La tapa trasera es sólida, no se ve la maquinaria (a Dios gracias). Es un reloj muy bonito y de buen tamaño que le gustará a todo el mundo.

Was Orient hier für das Geld bietet ist sensationell. Eigenständiges Design, Saphirglass, ein gutes Armband und ein eigenständig produziertes Uhrwerk mit Sekundenstopp und Handaufzug.
Das matte Grün wirkt edel.
Eigentlich ist die Uhr mehr ein Dressdiver, aber 20 ATM sind 20 ATM.

L'orologio si presenta molto bene e da subito l'impressione di una grande solidità. Risulta preciso, almeno il mio che lo porto al polso da pochi giorni. Il carattere è sportivo e nello stesso tempo di grande classicità. Quello da me scelto, dopo molto pensare, è quello di colore verde; è molto scuro, da confo derisi con il nero, ma basta una luce che lo colpisca direttamente per fargli assumere stupende sfumature verdi e bluastre. Lo consiglio a tutti così come quasi tutti gli altri orologi della Orient, di cui sono possessore di numerosi altri, in quanto prodotti in cui la qualità è alta rispetto al loro prezzo.

Im Produktfoto sieht die Uhr meines Erachtens deutlich ansprechender aus (vmtl. dank der Fotobox, die einfach keine reale Wiedergabe des Aussehens ermöglicht).
1) Die Lünette. Auf dem Foto sehr dunkel und ansprechend, eine schöne Harmonie mit dem Ziffernblatt. In der Realität sieht es jedoch ganz anders aus; die Lünette erscheint deutlich heller und sticht immer mit ihrem matten Grün hervor, egal wie dunkel (fast schwarz) das Ziffernblatt erscheint.
2) Die Leuchtfarbe. Auf dem Foto sehr weiß abgebildet, ist die Farbe in der Realität eher grüngelb, wie man es von vielen Uhren kennt. Das fügt der Uhr noch eine zusätzliche Farbe hinzu, die den Gesamteindruck für mich verschlechtert (stark ist die Leuchtfarbe aber).
3) Das Ziffernblatt. Gut, das kann man auf vielen Fotos und in vielen Rezensionen nachsehen. Sieht in der Realität deutlich besser aus, als in der Produktfotografie (wer hätte gedacht, dass diffuses Licht für jede Anwendung eben nicht taugt?). Sehr dunkel fast schwarz, bis eben (bei der entsprechenden Beleuchtung) wie im Produktfoto.
Nun andere Gesichtspunkte.
4) Die Krone: Federgespannt und klein. Wenn die Kanten denn kantig wären, dann würde ich das nicht erwähnen. Die Kanten sind aber (wie fast alles an der Uhr) runterpoliert. Das macht einen guten ersten Eindruck, aber die Krone ist nicht besonders einfach abzudrehen, ohne dabei Fingernägel zu benutzen.
5) Die Lünette hat eine saftige Feder und rastet wunderbar mit minimalem Spiel ein. Leider sind auch hier die Kanten wegpoliert, so dass die schön starke Feder zum Nachteil gerät. Man braucht schon trockene Finger und eine von oben kommende, für mich eher unbequeme Fingerposition um die Lünette zu drehen (insbesondere für längere Distanzen!). Wer das also vor hat, der sei vorgewarnt.
6) Das Spiel in den Endgliedern ist ja schon in anderen Rezensionen erwähnt, bei mir war es nur seitlich. Sonst hat es nicht geschlackert (das Problem wo man die Glieder weiter zubiegen müsste). Allerdings hat mir die Optik des Anstoßes zum Gehäuse überhaupt nicht gefallen. Das Gehäuse kommt wie ein Fass aus den viel zu flachen (kleinen?) Endgliedern heraus.
7) Das Glas (eigentlich auch etwas das auf Produktfotos nicht gut zu erkennen ist). Dadurch, dass es unbeschichtetes Saphirglas ist, fand ich die Reflektion doch etwas stärker, sogar stellenweise hinderlich beim ablesen als bei Uhren mit Mineralglas (Acrylglas, da wollen wir gar nicht von sprechen). Diese Uhr ist für mich der Auslöser eher von Saphirglas wegzuschauen, jedenfalls solange es unbeschichtet ist. Ein neues Glas kostet nicht die Welt.
Zu guter Letzt muss ich auch gestehen, dass mir die Uhr doch zu klein war. Ich habe nicht nachgemessen, aber da die Maße ja nur für das Gehäuse/Lünette gelten, kam mir das Ziffernblatt wirklich unangenehm zu klein vor.
Die Gesamtgröße der Uhr war nicht das Problem. Ohne Taucherlünette vmtl. eine gute größe, aber es hat schon einen Grund warum Taucheruhren oft "oversized" rüberkommen.
Am Schluss habe ich die Uhr dann zurückgesendet.

Sehr hochwertig, hübsch und sieht teurer aus. Auch das Armband und die Schließe macht einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck. Mein Exemplar geht gut 10-15 sek pro Tag vor, ich hoffe das kann ich oder ein Uhrmacher fein einstellen.
Die Uhr hat ein echtes Saphirglas, welches sogar 1-2mm tiefer als diemLünette und somit geschützt ist.
Das Grün ist sehr dunkel, dunkler als auf den Fotos. Als Grün erkennt man es nur wenn die Sonne drauf schimmert. d.h. wenn das Schwarze oder blaue Modell 20€ günstiger sein sollte (wie zum Zeitpunkt meines Kaufes) dann dort zuschlagen. Wenn die Blaue auch so dunkel ist, dann sehen alle 3 gleich aus, nämlich schwarz. Die Wochentagsanzeit ist in 2 Sprachen, Englisch und ich glaube französisch.
Die Krone ist verschraubt wie bei einer Rolex, was mehr Vertrauen in die Wasserdichtigkeit setzt. Der Rotor / Automatik Aufzug ist leise und kaum hörbar, und klingt dadurch weit hochwertiger als bei der Orient Bambino, wo er etwas „kratzig“ klingt. Die Leuchtziffern sind OK, leuchten aber weit nicht so hell und nicht so lange wie bei Rolex.
Würde ich sie wieder kaufen? Ja, ich denke schon. Wobei wem die Ganggenauigkeit wichtig ist, der sollte zu einer Quarzuhr greifen, bei denen gehen auch die günstigen auf 1sek im Monat genau.

È il secondo orologio Orient che acquisto in breve tempo ( il primo un Orient Bambino). La qualità costruttiva unita ad un prezzo "aggressivo" ne fanno un diver must to have. Il quadrante passa da un verdone al nero rendendo l'orologio sempre piacevole in ogni condizione di luce. Luminescenza ottima. Al polso non sembra un 42mm il che lo rende ancor più "vestibile". Il cinturino probabilmente lo cambierò per la sua qualità che anche se fa il suo "stona" se messa in rapporto al "corpo macchina".Ghiera a 120 scatti, Calibro F6922, vetro zaffiro. Venditore serio e professionale. Consigliato. Arrivato prima del tempo e imballato perfettamente senza alcun segno. in sintesi Soddisfattissimo... grazie Orient.

Die Orient Mako III in einem sehr geschmackvollen, dezenten Grün hat mich in den ersten Tagen vollends überzeugt.
Die Verpackung ist wirklich top, wirkt sehr edel und kommt inklusive Anleitung und Garantieschein. Die Lieferung war ebenfalls wie erwartet schnell.
Saphirglas ist in dieser Preisklasse eigentlich eher eine Seltenheit, doch hier erfreulicherweise vorhanden. Über die Robustheit lässt sich nach dieser kurzen Zeit noch nichts sagen, jedoch wirkt die Uhr beständig und keineswegs billig. Vorallem das angenehme, vergleichsweise hohe Gewicht wirkt sich positiv auf den Gesamteindruck aus.
Über das Armband lässt sich ebenfalls wenig Negatives sagen, meines hat lediglich bei der Ankunft ein wenig gequietscht.
