Got the brush in today and it was a different color than the ivory/bone color shown in the product pictures. Unlike other reviewers, I'm not giving it a 1-star review for something that is not related to the actual item. From what I could see the brush is well constructed and looks great, I just preferred the color shown in the pictures as to what I received (orange handle). Quick shipping from seller. As the page does not note this, just know that you may receive a different color from what is shown.

Works great! Amazed me that the shaving cream that I was previously applying with my hand didn't lather were a darn. Using this simple little brush changed everything! This lathered like the time my kid used dishwashing soap in my dishwasher.

This is an excellent brush. When broken in it is soft with good backbone. The price to quality ratio is excellent. You can't go wrong with this brush.

Great beginner brush. It has a premium feel to it. I reviewed the red handle version. It performs better than my $60 to $100 brushes. Only 2 lost bristles. And I was extra rough with it. No break in needed. Ready to use. Leave in a bowl of hot water is the only prep you need. About two minutes or so. It's soft and gentle yet you really feel it exfoliate the skin. Even on my 5 day hair growth. The bristles lift the whiskers up like a champ. Boar bristle brushes are growing on me.

The Omega shaving brush is a cheap, no frills solution for those getting into the art of wet shaving. It's not fancy, just plastic and bristles, but it's enough to give an idea of whether or not you're going to enjoy it. However, don't expect it to hold up for too long. Bristles are already bent outward in all directions on mine and I'm already losing a few, and I've only had it a month. It should last about a year however, and by the time it falls into uselessness, a decision will already have been made as to whether or not it's worth getting a better brush.

Dissapointment !!!!
Heavy loss of bristel every time I shave. I have to remove them with hand before using blade....much irritating. Currenlty the density has reduce to half and lather is also not rich.
Such a expensive brush but it dissapoint. Chuck it !!!

Duplicate !!!! BEWARE
Have been using this expensive piece of crap for last 3 months and now i am 100% sure this product is duplicate or else the brand is not worth buying.
Hair loss is major issue and currently the density of brisel has almost reduce to half and more irritating is the interfernce of loose hair with blade whule shaving. I have to remove those by picking them one by one by hand.
Return policy has also been expired. Amazon please refund my hard earn money.

- puis au bout d'une semaine, perte de poils en petit nombre
- maintenant, une bonne douzaine de poils perdus chaque jour, des poils collés sur le visage et dans le lavabo !

The brush does have a strong oder when you receive it but after a few loads of soap it's completely gone . To me the brush is just right not to soft not to scratchy it has nice backbone. This is currently my favorite brush . The stand is not the best but I would pay the price for the brush alone . I highly recommend this brush .

This is my first investment on a brush. I use the Taylor of old Bond Cream with this brush. It came with a stand that is simple to use and sturdy. The bristles have a nice firm feel to it, allowing for moisture and cream to lather nicely. I haven't broken in the brush yet, but this is by far worth every cent I have paid for this product. I used some crappy cheap generic brushes in the past and would fly through my shaving cream. Not only do I look forward to lathering up now, but also saving money in the long run. Its easy to clean and the handle is pretty standard.

It loads up and holds lather perfectly and it's very soft on my face. This shaving brush along with my new Marvy's Rubber Shaving Mug and a 3-pack of William's pucks have made me a very happy camper.

I got tired of having to discard shaving gel dispensers that would no longer work even though they still had quite a bit of shaving gel still in them. So I decided to try the old fashioned shaving cream and brush route. I could not be happier with this decision, should have done it 30 years ago.
You just soak the Omega Shaving Brush under a stream of hot water, squeeze out most of the water from the brush, then use the brush to whip up the lather of a small dab of the Taylor of Old Bond street Sandalwood shaving cream (I just use the lid of the shaving cream jar) and brush the whipped shaving cream onto your face. I still use the Gillette Fusion razors and the shave I get is as good if not better than with the shaving gels from cans. You rinse out the brush under a stream of hot water, squeeze as much water as you can out of it, and then hang it on the stand to dry. The brush will be dry and ready to go again the next morning. A nice plus is the great sandalwood smell of the shaving cream which takes me back to the good old barbershop shaves.
I highly recommend going this route because:
1) the shaving cream will last a long time because you only need a little bit every time you shave
2) the shaving cream feels and smells great going on your face
3) you get a great close shave with the Gillette Fusion razors
4) there is no waste as you will be able to use every drop of your shaving cream
5) last but not least you are helping the planet by not having to discard non-recyclable cans of shaving gels
