Pluisieur Bugs et HS après 4 mois d'utilisation
J'ai acheté ce téléphone pour ma fille de 12 ans.
Il tourne sous l'OS KAIOS ce qui nous donne accès à certaines applications web comme Facebook, Youtube, WhatsAPP. Il possède même un navigateur web intégré.
La 4G et le wi-fi fonctionne bien.
Il faut un temps d'adaptation pour pouvoir utiliser ce téléphone à touche sachant qu'il n'est évidemment pas tactile.
Le son et la qualité vidéo sont basiques mais ça dépanne.
Il n'est pas fourni avec un kit piéton.
Par contre il beugue souvent nous sommes régulièrement contraints de le redémarrer ou de retirer la batterie pour qu'il refonctionne correctement.
Autre point très contraignant il ne prend pas la charge correctement, au bout de 3/4 de charge il peut s'arrêter de charger sans raison.
Par ailleurs impossible d'afficher le pourcentage de charge restante dans les icônes du haut.
Acheté une première fois en janvier 2022 puis SAV/remboursement en avril 2022 suite à l'impossibilité de charger le téléphone, batterie sûrement HS.
Acheté une seconde fois en avril suite au remboursement, nous avons rencontré les mêmes problèmes de bugs logiciels et de charge/batterie il est de nouveau HS en septembre 2022.
Dommage qu'il ait des problèmes de conception aussi importants, parce qu’en soit c'est un bon téléphone qui permet d'accéder à des applications essentielles sans passer par Androïd.

nice simple kinda smart phone
no issues what so ever - takes some getting used to but having grown up on the old nokias its not that much of an adjustment.
speed is good - whatsapp text calls and maps work fine. still working on trying to sync my calendar but i have a feeling its not going to port across from my google pixl
wifi drains the battery but once i turned that off it lasted a full day with lots of use - voice notes and picture sending
dont buy if youre trying to trick yourself into getting a phone that's just like your smartphone but retro looking - you wont be able to use instagram or youtube on this and it will feel very different
4 stars only because you cant delete all of the bloat on it.

Limited but functional feature phone
We bought this for our oldest child, who has recently started walking home from school. It was simple to set up, and he's very happy with it. I picked this device because it runs KaiOS, which is a mobile operating system based on an open source community-driven fork of Firefox OS. I was a bit disappointed to find that there are several apps that can't easily be removed, as I was hoping to avoid software from the big tech companies that could be used to gather data. The device is also stuck on an old version of the operating system, and highly unlikely to be updated in the future. These small and rather technical issues aside, the device meets my expectations as a decent starter phone.

Suited for the senior user
I bought this phone to replace a Nokia 3310 3G( 2018) which I`d found too small for comfortable use, with microscopic screen text (and no facility to enlarge font). The 6300 4G fits comfortably in the hand, with larger keys and a screen font which can be enlarged by one step. The new operating system is not intuitive but you soon familiarise yourself to it. My PAYG SIM only gives me 3G (although a contract SIM wil give 4G) but the phone was easily set up for Internet`tethering`to my media-pad . Call quality of the 6300 is good, and you can locate the earpiece speaker easily with your ear ! I`m not bothered by WhatsApp, Facebook or Maps on a 2.4" screen but this phone can do a version of all 3 - the maps feature quickly identifies where you are if you find yourself lost in a new area. Battery life seems long, though I`d be interested to compare the forthcoming Nokia 150 2020 when it arrives - which resembles the 6300 but is a more basic phone which might suit one equally as well if Facebook/WhatsApp are not desired.

Bought it because it does at least allow you to read music from the micro SD card via an 'Album view' or an 'artist view' or a 'song view' so that was ok.
But other than that it has virtually none of the personalisation options of the the old school nokia phones.
No profiles, limited tone allocation, no copying messages to calendar as a reminder for later,
Calendar reminders can not be adjusted to repeat every 'n' weeks (where you supply the value of n).
Why in the name of all that's holy don't nokia just get an old phone reproduce EXACTLY the menu options we all new and loved - and which worked ???
I only wanted a feature phone, so turned off the wifi, gps and bluetooth - so that would prob have made the battery last longer.
In under 24hrs it had decided to switch itself off and wouldn't switch back on.
I took a sledge hammer to it a the end of the garden, then discarded the battery (which had got pretty hot thanks to the beating) on the frost covered grass.
Back to my old 206 and feeling much happier now.

GPS not working ruins the experience
Really like the phone and Kai OS is not bad at all - except GPS for google maps doesn't work. As this was the main reason for buying this device, it sadly needs to be returned. Still looking for a smart feature phone with maps - this is definitely not the one.

Perfect(ly dreadful)
I bought this phone to help reduce my screentime, downgrading from an iPhone to something more basic. It certainly did the trick.
This phone can do almost nothing beyond the basic functions it advertizes: text, call, email and WhatsApp. In that regard, it’s worked perfectly: sending a message is extremely difficult, especially when the keyboard keeps resetting from predictive text, so the urge to check for messages has almost vanished overnight. You can use Google Assistant to dictate them, but this produces an unpunctuated wall of text – so not much use for sending anything longer than a short sentence.
Its Bluetooth connection drops after a few minutes. It lags horribly if you move too quickly between apps. The camera is dreadful. The battery isn’t what I’d expected given how little the phone actually does: it probably needs charging every two days.
But as an alternative to doomscrolling, it is perfect. Staring at your phone has never been less attractive.

It's not symbian
This phone does its job. The 4G and WiFi hot spot is useful. But make no mistake, it's nothing like the Nokia phones of old - the software may look similar but it has none of the polish or refinement of simbian phones. It is clunky and frustrating to do even simple things like alter the call volume or type a text message.

Does more than you’d ever expect from a ‘Dumb’ Nokia
I bought this phone to see what the new range of Nokia phones running KaiOS were like. This was the cheapest of the range, so if I didn’t like it, then it wasn’t too much of a problem. Immediately I was so surprised at how much this little phone can do! It has all the important apps; WhatsApp, YouTube, Google Maps, Facebook. And for the apps that it doesn’t have, there are cleverly converted apps in the KaiOS Store that will run on a Nokia with predictive text.
This phone is absolutely great for someone who wants a cheap spare phone that can still do nearly everything that a smartphone can or if you want to buy a child a phone, but don’t want to spend hundreds of £s on a smartphone that will be broken in days. Plus, it’s a Nokia, so it’ll never break anyway!
The camera is pretty bad, but at least it’s got one!
This phone is absolutely great for someone who wants a cheap spare phone that can still do nearly everything that a smartphone can or if you want to buy a child a phone, but don’t want to spend hundreds of £s on a smartphone that will be broken in days. Ok
Battery life is poor, didn't last a day with Bluetooth use. There is no T9 predictive text. The snake game on there is very strange, kind of unplayable, maybe that's the point.
Other than that it's good. I bought this phone to stop using my smartphone, not have all the addictive rubbish shoved in my face, and for that it's perfect as it has WhatsApp.

Reasonable phone but the battery does not last it needs charging daily and I don’t use it that much and I don’t seem to be able to access the email have tried many times to connect but it just won’t !,,,,,but will will keep it for now as I like ths screen size and also prefer the buttons

i have mixed feelings about this - I have bought two of these phones - one is excellent and I am happy to recommend it but the second one was non functioning and I have returned it and received a full refund.

Very Poor phone not good value for your money
Better off looking for another phone which would be better value for your money only need it as a trmpary spear otherwise I would not of purchased it
It's slow loading its very fidgity to use battery does not last long

don't bother
no clipboard is a killer. too much crapware that can't be (easily) uninstalled. gps is inoperative. really is a stinker, nokia were making better phones 10 years ago.
experience shows the bundled browser is awful, the one on the store is slightly better. no way of viewing contents of text files, can't open html files with the browser, it's now pretending the sd card isn't there...
wifi hotspot seems to work.
£5 a fair price for this pos.

Loses signal entirely multiple times a day
I have a Lebara Nano SIM card that works fine with my Galaxy S10e. When I pop it into the Nokia, it will work fine for a few hours. It's a lovely feature phone, the battery life is great. It will even run some fairly smart applications, like TOTP code generators, 2048, and a fancy version of Snake.
That said, every few hours the signal will drop to zero bars, and the phone will stay on WiFi only. I've ordered a replacement, which suffers from the exact same problem. It's really a shame, as this phone has everything I wanted, and nothing I don't.
