Ужасно
- + Быстрая печать, объёмные картриджи, большой входной лоток и прочие мелкие, но приятные мелочи, вроде подсветки выходного лотка.
- - Очень и очень глючное и тормозное ПО, качество печати ниже чем у моделей более низкого класса, долгий "разогрев" перед началом печати.
Довольно дорогая модель МФУ показала себя очень недостойно, прошивка что шла в комплекте изобилует глюками, МФУ просто может внезапно перезагрузиться при отправке задания на печать, может зависнуть в процессе настройки, пару раз ловили синие экраны с просьбой...

We've had our all in 1 printer for almost 5 years now! We've used it for TONS of printing, faxing, scanning and copying over the years. The wheels are starting to squeek, the black print portion is finally giving me trouble. But all in all, this baby has performed very well.The good:I love the print software that comes with the installation disk. It makes doing anything very easy. Just open the Laxmark Productivity Studio on your desktop, you can scan documents & turn them into a pdf file or std doc, or choose the photo option to scan a photo. I don't use their photo editing portion, however. I have another that I like. But, for everything else it has performed amazingly!Super easy to install. Gives you step by step installation instructions from plugging it into the wall & all the way through.Multiple ways to scan a document. Top load feeder or lay directly on glass.Paper jams are fairly easy to clear out. Just open the door where the jam is & pull it out. Haven't had too many of these.ReliableThe Bad:Lexmark ink is terribly expensive. If you buy the standard yield ink you'll blow through it pretty fast. Just using the allignment feature, which it asks you to perform whenever you install a new print cartridge, uses a ton of ink. I just see $$ signs when it does this.The high yield ink is the only way to go with this printer. Lexmark brand is always more expensive. Like designer jeans. Their ink quality is good, but expensive. I also don't like that their cartridges have a set "limit" of ink that the cartridge will allow to come out. It doesn't run out of ink, you just run out on your allotted amount set at the factory. Not happy about that at all.If you go with a non Lexmark remanufactured ink cartridge, be prepared to continue through 3 screens, all letting you know that you do not have one of their cartridges in there. Ink level is always inaccurate since it's not "Lexmark". I've used the remanufactured ones for the last 2 years and have been very happy with them. Always buying through amazon. They are so much cheaper & quality is acceptable for what I need it for. Basic home use, printing worksheets for my 2 home schooled children. The notification screens have just become a part of the routine when printing.At times we have had some software issues. The printer will turn on all by itself, it will cause the computer to wake up & make the sound when you plug in or unplug a thumb drive. Not sure what all that is about, but it eventually stops. Also have had numerous times when I print from a file on my computer & it shows printing but nothing is happening. A restart of the computer fixes it & it prints what I was waiting for.I really can't think of any other cons. It's been a great machine. Well worth the under $100 we paid for it. If faced with the decision again, & looks like we are getting to that point, this one is right at the top of the list. Although, being able to print without always being told to buy more ink, ink level low & you do not have a Lexmark certified print cartridge, sounds pretty nice about now.

If you order one of these, you'll receive it in the black cardboard box with the Lexmark logo and pictures of happy people -- clearly all happy to be using a Lexmark product.However, this packaging will also look like it's already been opened -- which will make you wonder if the toner cartridge may be a used toner cartridge, even though it's actually brand new. What they've done is to use a pair of a kind of locking-tabs-into-slot system for closing this box instead of just using some glue, tape or staples to seal it.For someone who is used to seeing glued-shut, taped-shut or stapled-shut boxes when something arrives that is supposed to be brand new, this is very confusing, and caused me to call Lexmark to confirm that I actually received a new cartridge, and not a used one. After some back-and-forth with someone in tech support who went into some other room to look at one of these boxes for himself, I got the word back from him that this locking-tab-into-slot arrangement IS the way it is supposed to be when brand new.I realize this may seem like a strange thing to write about in a review (most people don't write reviews about how some company chooses to close a box), but I can't imagine I'm the only one to be confused by this. Every other company's brand new product, whether it's a toner cartridge or something else, arrives in a box that has been sealed shut with glue, tape or staples so that you have to tear some part of the box open, which then helps to make it very easy to distinguish an opened box from an unopened box.I can also tell that someone at Lexmark actually spent time designing this locking-tab setup -- it is rather elaborate. So, this is something that someone clearly thought was a really good idea. But, in addition to being visually ambiguous as to whether it has already been opened, it also has one other problem -- it can be easily defeated! In the process of trying to examine this box to figure out if I had been sent a used cartridge, I've found an all-too-easy way to open this locking-tab arrangement that leaves no clue it was ever opened.In short, to whoever came up with this at Lexmark, this is just a really bad idea, period -- it's confusing to customers, and it's easily circumvented without leaving any evidence of being previously opened. My recommendation to you is to stop using this nutty design, and just use glue, tape or staples to seal the box like any normal company would. At the very least, you then won't get phone calls like the one I just made.

This printer developed a communication error after a month of use. Fortunately I had my old X5495 around and it still works, though it no longer has the quality print of a newer one. I did have the same make and model before and it lasted a couple of years.It's a great little machine, but Lexmark's goal to sell ink gives it a bad name in my mind. I gravitated from a simple $25 per week black cartridge buy to a realization that this thing is going to cost me thousands of dollars if I keep this machine for a couple-3 years. They pester you at every step to buy more ink than you need to and look out if you use a cheaper cartridge that is not theirs; each print calls up a box you have to close that says you are cheating them out of a cartridge sale--which was not part of the bargain when I bought their printer!Frankly, I wish we could get back to honest merchandising where the printer sells for the price it needs to be without the ink sales, then let us do the ink thing at arm's-length from the printer manufacturer.I use the printer for church-related work, not for profit. Being retired and living on social security, I need a printer that will allow me to do a lot of printing at a low cost per print. The only way you can do that with Lexmark is to do refills and put up with Lexmark's harassments; again, which wasn't in the bargain when I bought the printer.

i had this printer for about 3 years.it worked well with windows xp. i had driver problems since xp days and the printer would not scan after having it a few months. i keep getting software errors. I went to windows 7 ultimate and i downloaded the new drivers and i still can't get this thing work properly. same software issues and win 7 doesn't recognize the my drivers. this is the same for my 2 lexmark printers. this printer can run through some ink. but its a good printer when its working but it has software issues. paid 80-90$ for this

I bought this printer new in a box on clearance from a large store. It came missing three important items. I was replacing a Lexmark 6150 All In One (couldn't run the cd that came with it in Vista, even after downloading the support downloads for drivers and utilities from the website), and had to only replace it because they orphaned it (the cd wouldn't run in Vista, and they refused to send one that would). I had only had it 4 years, and it had only come out 4 yrs ago.The new x5495 was missing the 1 free ink cartridge (color) that is included. It was missing the power cord and the cd. So, fine, I contacted customer support. Initially, they responded the items were on their way. A few days later, they responded that they were not sending them, was this item a display or refurbished item. I had sent them the serial number, and this item came new in the box.Well, they claimed it is a $99 printer and because I paid $44 for it, I could just order the replacement items. I informed them that at that point, I would just return it to the store, and instead order the Canon Pixma mx310 (which comes with both cartridges and uses less ink per page of the cartridge). I have ordered it from Amazon for $79, and it will arrive on February 16th.My husband has a Canon Printer that came with his first laptop (he has been through 4 laptops, and it is over 10 yrs old now), and Canon still supports it! Not orphaned at all. It still is rather impressive how well it prints, and the ink is inexpensive for it.My experience with their orphaning my last all in one, and then not replacing missing parts in a new product after promising they would, has turned me off of Lexmark forever. Honestly, what a horrible two experiences!

I can see why they discontinued this model. It eats up print cartridges like crazy.and they are expensive. The amount of cartridges you use in a year, will pay for a new printer many times over.To expensive to operate.

Do not waste your waste your money! I received this model because my second Lexmark printer (5470) conveniently died 11 months and 15 days after buying it. I called Lexmark up to complain since our first Lexmark printer broke 14 months after buying it and the 2nd one worked until it was just shy of one year. They nicely informed me that my current printer was still under warranty and they would replace it free with an updated model which would carry its own warranty. Okay then....This one was the worst yet! The automatic feeder stopped working after 3 months and calling Lexmark customer service was an enlightening experience. They could not have cared less since the printer was considered a replacement which meant the warranty had run out since it did not, in fact, have its own warranty as originally stated. The Technical department actually suggested lightly shaking the printer from side to side to fix the problem. THEY WERE SERIOUS.My advice - stay away from the Lexmark brand when it comes to printers! The product is sub-standard and their customer service is awful.

We bought this printer from an at home shopping channel. We were so excited, couldn't believe what a great price we got on it considering all the "wonderful" things it can do. AND it's compatible with Vista! I was jumping for joy until the day it got here!I tried for hours and hours and hours messing with this thing, trying to get it to work and each time NOTHING!! Nothing but silence! I called their customer service and the woman on the phone pretty much thought b/c I was a woman, I must be doing something wrong. Which is sad....really sad! Anyways, when I got off the phone with her, I called our local Best Buy and they said they had been having alot of problems with them and as soon as I told him I have Vista, he said that's the problem. THIS PRINTER IS NOT VISTA COMPATIBLE!!!!!! NO MATTER WHAT ANYBODY TELLS YOU!! We are sending this back today yet I think I may get more satisfaction from throwing in the driveway and running over it with my car!! lolAnyways, Please do not buy this if you have Vista, It will not work!

I bought this printer after full of frustration with Canon & HP.This is the most easier printer to set up and install. The fax machine runs well without problem. Only the problem is when you run through Vista, so for those using Vista you should go for Canon.

I didn't buy this from Amazon, but got it on sale a year ago from a physical store. I love how easy it was to set up the functions. It comes with a step-by-step wizard and after a few tries, even got the fax machine set up. The machine will talk to you to let you know when it's printing and when it's finished printing. If you run out of ink, it will tell you to reorder. Plus, it doesn' just shut down if you're out of color. It will just prompt you and you can print your document in black & white. Great product...hasn't disappointed me yet.
