It's fine and it works ok, but I begrudge having to replace the old one so soon
We bought 3 full Tesi Aquablade toilets with soft-closed seats back in January 2020, had them all installed during the Spring, and moved into the house in July of 2020.
One of the 3 toilets gets more use than the others, but for some unknown reason the underside of the lid itself and the full inner edge of the seat itself all discoloured noticeably by December 2020. The fact that the underside of the lid had discoloured rules out 'splashback' staining, it was almost as if the plastic had somehow faded or aged from exposure to the sun or something?
Anyway, cue me buying this replacement soft-close seat. I wanted to get the right seat for the toilet as I was unsure if other OEM seats would 'fit' the bowl properly. The replacement goes on fine - a little stiff to get it seated initially, but take your time and it goes down.
I think it's very expensive for a seat - especially in my case as I don't think the originally-supplied one should have discoloured as it did. The other two remain in as-new visual condition, so it might have been a one-off.

Solid seat
Looks both great and expencive ... I'm happy I went for this and not the cheap version... I have the toilet too, but not soft close do it made sense to have the original seat too.. it's sold when u sit on it and it doesn't move around at all compare to cheaper ones which, no matter how tight they are screwed to the toilet, they still move... Further more, very easy set up 😊

New fittings are slightly larger than the old ones.
Excellent product but fittings are slightly larger than previous model. Seat is removed by pressing the silver plungers shown. Fit the new steel inserts by allowing the old ones to fall into the void. Insert the new holders (there is a gravity mechanism that allows the retainers to fit through the holes before they assume a horizontal position. Tighten and then, holding spring loaded buttons, allow new seat to fit onto the steel inserts. Complicated? Not really when you tackle the job.
Post review note - we've just noticed a black mark on the seat which we didn't notice when installing. Too late to return. Obvious lesson - inspect closely when first bought.

No instructions and not soft close
It was delivered within the time frame but had no instructions and is not soft close. I would not buy another from here which is why it has the score of one.

Arrived with no instructions and the soft close did not work. Returned to Amazon as faulty.

Ottimo ma occhio alle misure
Il prodotto, si vede, è di qualità.
Fate attenzione alle misure : gli agganci presenti sono sia per buchi ciechi che "passanti", per il mio water (buchi passanti) la lunghezza del perno non era sufficiente. Ho dovuto fare una giuntura (costo 3 euro dal ferramenta) ed ora è OK.
