Сложные расходники и запчасти не найти за вменяемую цену
Не плохой аппарат для своего времени , но ему почти 18 лет , запчасти найти на него трудно ( если только искать на Авито)

- + Рабочая лошадка для офиса. Неприхотлив, прочен, надёжен, работоспособен. Поддержка производителем драйверами вплоть до Win 8.1 64-бит (вполне возможно и на десятке будет работать). Катриджи без чипа! Заменяется на любые А12, в т.ч. увеличенной ёмксти (XXL).
- - в Win 8.1 64-бит были проблемы с USB 3.0. Решилась заменой драйвера на специальный для USB этого принтера.
Стандартная проблема лотков с верхней подачей: со временем начинают захватывать по нескольку листов за раз. Но это не электроника, наверно можно отремонтировать (не пытался, мне и так нормально).
Некрасивый, несовременный дизайн и цвет ))

Не сканирует с МФУ.
Драйвера - это проблема всех HP, с которой приходится мирится и подбирать лучшие : )
Легенда. Сразу вспоминается ряд принтеров 1020 ,1018 и МФУ 3055. Почитав комменты понял, что только полный нуб может сказать: «Картридж малого объема, дорогой и чипованый, что делает его перезаправку проблематичной.» Картридж можно заправить прямо возле принтера, если иметь руки из нужного мест. Чип? Не знаю у меня...

The HP LaserJet 3050 served us well as long as we were using computers that were running Win XP, and that was a long time. But when we bought a new computer running Win 7 64, the wheels came off the bus.HP's only driver solution for this printer in a Win 7 64 environment is a so-called "Universal Printer Driver" that is completely inadequate. HP's web support does not indicate that there is a TWAIN driver for the scanner; no upgraded HP scanner software is offered. Adobe Acrobat Pro X can no longer create pdf scans from the 3050. The only workaround I have found is to use Microsoft Paint to scan documents to jpg files, and then use Acrobat Pro X to convert them to pdf files...what a nuisance! Single-side printing works OK, but manual duplex is no longer usable since the "back side" pages print in reversed order!HP "support" refused even to talk to me unless I paid a $39 fee, since the unit is "out of warranty". But I do not have a warranty issue. I have a performance issue because HP has not provided a workable driver for its "multifunction" printer-scanner in the Microsoft operating system environment that is the only reality in 2011. This is a customer-unfriendly policy decision that cannot burnish HP's brand for established and future customers. There must be a lot of (former) HP customers who have been left high and dry by this policy.The unit is mechanically robust and going strong after several years of use, but HP's deplorably inadequate software support for evolving operating systems has made it very much less useful. I will have to replace it with something that delivers full functional capability with Win 7 64, but that something will not be an HP printer.

This is the fourth time I have had to replace an HP product when I went to a new operating system. I replaced two laser printers, color printer, and a flat bed scanner. HP is the worst computer related company I have had to deal with when upgrading after a system change. I learn slow, but I finally got the message.I bought the 3050 when I went to Vista from XP. Worked okay, then I went to Wdw7. Printer works, but not the fax or scanner.Went on the web to see what is going on. MS says 7 has the driver loaded, but HP does not have a W7 fax/scanner feature that works and I have to download a Vista version and use in compatability mode. Still won't work. Wdw7 is supposed to be just an upgrade of Vista. HP can't create a workable driver? Give me a break.Well, HP, I got the hint. You want to sell more hardware rather than support your customers. Replaced yours with an Epson. Next to go is the HP color printer and then I am done with you. Then, joy of joys, I can delete all the intrusive software you put on my machine and never have to see another HP pop-up.Good riddance.

I liked the printer fine -- wasn't delighted with it, but wasn't terribly unhappy either -- until I upgraded my MacBook to Mac OS X. Then I find out, unfortunately, that HP does not support full functionality for this printer under Mac OS X, and I'm far from the only one unhappy with this situation, and HP has refused to update the printer driver for provide full functionality. (See[…]) for just one forum for the complaints. As a result, I would not buy this or any other HP printer again. I just can't count on it the software being updated for a decent length of time.

Although I did not purchase this model printer, HP printers are a waste of money. I purchased a brand new multifunction laserjet printer HP Color LaserJet CM1312 at Officemax. I had to replace this printer twice only to get refurbished printers from HP which now is again malfunctioning. I used to value the HP brand, but the prince and the poor quality is not worth the investment. These printers have a very short usage period and basically are a piece of junk.

I own 3 of them. Two in my office and 1 at home. After a few months, a horizontal white line appears on everything that comes through the machine. No one seems to be able to cure it, even when I went to Best Buy with the unit. One claims it is the scan bulb, another claims it is the toner unit and someone claims there is white out on the glass.Forget this unit;nothing but problems. In addition, the feed can only handle one page at a time.

Great printer - if you run XP (which I do). If you are looking for a black and white printer/fax/scanner that is cheap, fast, and reliable this is the one.

I'm the same as a few others I bought a new HP computer with Vista aka "Junka"... and spent 4 hours one saturday trying to find out how to get software that would make the scanner work. The CD that came with the printer doesn't work with vista! How crazy, it seems the farther we advance with computers the less compatible they become... I have an HP computer and an HP printer and they don't work together, I'm so mad. I just wish that HP would at least make it easy to let you know that it's impossible to get the 3050 scanner to work with vista instead of making you run all around the internet for nothing. HP you're a junk company!

I'm an attorney and I use this printer solely for about 2000 pages per month. It is an amazing workhorse. It never gets jams, faxes like a breeze and makes decent copies. Like any sheetfed copier, though, it can make lines on the copies if you aren't finicky about what you put in it. White-out and scotch tape seem to get stuck on the reader and make lines on subsequent copies so I have a flatbed scanner/copier for small items and paper with "stuff" on it. I would buy this printer again in a heartbeat and have recommended it to friends with similar raves about this machine.

i want to return the HP3050 printer,because it doesn't work,it didn't suck the paper.and without all the paper trade(see the picture).it can not use even you ship the botten paper trade later,still missing 3 pieces paper trade and the light was on all the time showssomething wrong(see the picture).How should i return the printer?where & to which company? I purchesed another printer later ,can i use thatbox to return? because it doesn't come with the original box when you shipped.wait for your answer.Best Regards

I've had this printer for nearly a year. Very good quality output, pretty speedy, scan and fax work fine. Super reliable, and out of tens of thousands of copies, I think I've had one jam. That's the good news.The bad news comes in two types:1. Mac support is essentially non-existent for Leopard users. Cannot scan without weird work-arounds that you don't want to try. Manual duplex causes every other page to print upside down. The drivers have not been updated for Leopard.2. The cost of toner is high. You get 2,000 sheets from a cartridge, which costs about $60 (Costco) or more. To make this worse, the printer never gives you warning when toner is low. If you are, for example, printing 50 copies, the toner could run out after copy 2, giving you 48 misprinted sheets that are destined for the recycle bin. Since the sheets exit face down, you cannot see this happening until it is too late.I've been trying to find a highly-rated equivalent printer (laser all in one) that works well on the Mac, and when I do, this 3050 will be gone.

Have owned for 2 months and working great, well worth $200. Also purchased 2 year extended warranty. As long as you don't need the flatbed scanner portion on the 3055 for an additional $100, this is a great fax/printer/copier. I use in a small office where we get 50 faxes per day. I do not have it hooked up to a PC as it is not network friendly. 12A Toner is inexpensive at $60 and quick and easy to change. Says good for 2000 copies. Only negative is you cannot add to a network, wired or wireless. The 3050 costs about the same as the old brother toner & drum replacements. The Brother is now in the trashcan and lovin the HP 3050.

We needed a new Laser Fax for office and after some research, I had decided to buy one of these 3050s. We got one and set it up as a stand alone fax. It worked ok for a while, but then we started getting random calls from our customers letting us know that the fax we sent them was just one solid black page. This only happens randomly. I contacted HP Support and after trying some of their pointless tech support tips, they finally agreed to swap out the unit. I sent that unit back and they sent me a "new" unit. Unfortunately, the solid black pages are still happening. Not as often, at least we are not getting as many reports of this happening, but it is still happening. I will never buy another 3050 again.
