SMART update after 2 months of use
After 2 months of use:
I will retain the 5 star rating as battery performance is still the best. No issue with watch faces. I have downloaded 4 - 5 new watch faces of my choice. Pictures attached. I have not encountered any lags, connectivity issues so far. I am using it without any tempered glass no scratches on glass, it's real tough. Best watch at this price range.
Great looking smartwatch. Leather strap makes it more premium in looks. Comes with a spare rubber strap so can be used for activities in water. Though I had purchased it only as smartwatch but goal based activities ensure user focuses somewhat on fitness too.
Below are some of the points which might come useful for one in making purchase decision
1. Metal body yet light in weight
2. Fairly long battery life. Mine came 80% charged, its 5th day its continuously on my wrist and still has 25% power left.
3. Has mic and speaker so no need to take out phone from pocket to attend phone calls. Option to add contacts so making phone calls is another plus.
4. Option to set notification for messages and mails so again no need to put hands in pocket to take out phone.
5. Continuous heart rate and stress level monitoring are accurate and helpful when coupled with data on health app.
6. Option to add music on watch and to control music on phone is another plus.
7. Step count is accurate but gives false count while traveling in vehicle. I got false count of 122 steps in 22 KMs travelled in car.
8. Too many watch faces are available to choose but only 3-4 are impressive. Good option of adding pictures to customize watch face to taste is available. Addition of more pictures to watch gallery keeps watch face changing.
9. Big list of indoor outdoor training activities with voice assistance and performance tracking is available.

Brought this watch on sale. Built quality is good.

Generally good smart fitness watch with out simcard
From saturday 18th, its 5th day running & left with 36% battery with maximum functions enabled, including sleep tracking n pulse thru out day. Blood oxygen unknown how to get. Gt2 the Huwaei version of this watch costlier by 2000 rs, launched a bit earlier, is comparable based on its reviews, except for some watch faces. After some time one may loose interest in this watch, once the fitness craze is over unless one is fitness freek. Some one who can shell out 14500 for this craze can confidently go fot it. Service n warranty are still question marks, for online n even offline buyers. Have time up to 28th to keep unless amazon changes mind.

Enable custom watch faces on Android devices.
One of the best smart watches in the price segment. Most of the reviews mention the pros and cons of the smart wearable. I will share how to enable custom watch faces on the watch:
My Device: One Plus 7
Issue: Was not able to download custom watch faces.
Solution:
Step 1: Create a Huawei ID on cloud.huawei.com. Make sure to select your region as UK.
Step 2: Download huawei health app but donot open it.
Step 3: Download huawei mobile services application.
Step 4: Turn on airplane mode, connect to wifi and open the huawei health app. Select the region as UK or India.
Step 5: Complete the pairing with your smart watch. You will be able to see option to use custom watch faces.
Step 6: You wont be able to download the custom watch faces yet. It will prompt you to login using huawei id.
Step 7: Goto settings > accounts > add new account and login using your created huawei id.
Voila! Enjoy your watch faces.
Also, the heart rate sensor is very accurate. I have compared it with iWatch series 5.

Not Able to download new watch faces
The watch is extremely elegant and stylish and has all fitness related activities.
The only problem is that when you wish to download new watch faces Huawei health app forces you to download Huawei mobile service app which is complete trash (doesn't open at all) hence you can't download any watch faces at all ,I use OnePlus 6 and I thought might be there is some issue with my mobile so I tried to download the app in another mobile and I found the same problem.
May be those who have honor or Huawei phone will be able to download the app and use new watch faces and those who use other mobile brand will not be able to do so.
I am returning this watch because of this issue.
The only problem is that when you wish to download new watch faces Huawei health app forces you to download Huawei mobile service app which is complete trash (doesn't open at all) hence you can't download any watch faces at all ,I use OnePlus 6 and I thought might be there is some issue with my mobile so I tried to download the app in another mobile and I found the same problem.

Think twice before you buy this Smart Watch! *Returned*
There are few things which i want to highlight here and this is really weird.
I have 3 phones; OnePlus 7, Nokia 8.1 and Mi Max 2. I firstly paired it with OnePlus 7, the whole process was quick and no issues with Huawei Health app but when i tried downloading the watch faces it asked me to download Huawei Mobile Services App to register. I downloaded the app and when i tried opening the App it got crashed. I again reinstalled the app but getting the same error so I unpaired the watch from OnePlus 7 and started the same process with Nokia 8.1. Unfortunately the issue was still there with Nokia and I was unable to download the watch faces.
Then I downloaded the app and followed the same process with Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and guys i was able to download both Huawei Health and Huawei Mobile Services. You'll get one OTP on your registered (Mi ID) or mobile number and then you are good to go. I was able to download almost everything from Mi Max 2.
So you get this issue? How is this even possible?
Although OnePlus is also Chinese but I don't know why i wasn't able to download the app and features.
Now the second thing, the accuracy of steps and all is just 75%. I was in metro and at that time my step count was 1000. I was not moving and after completing my journey of 52 stations my step count was 2122, but I was on seat and not even moving.
The Watch has bugs and it's not that smooth. I'm not asking for seamless experience but I cannot tolerate this much lag. May be they upgrade the firmware soon(IDK).
And where are those 162 reviews? I can only see 8-10 now. Price is decent but there's a lot of improvement required.
I'll again use it for 3-4 days and if the experience remain the same, I'll return the watch.

Value for money!! Not really the smartest watch, but if you dont mind lack of apps or texting from your watch, this is the best option.
Got the watch+headphone combo. Its basically a badge engineered huawei gt2. So, you get the same watch at a much lower price!
The strap that came with the watch is extremely comfortable. Overall fit and finish is excellent. Had been using magic watch 1 since last year.
I find this watch to be better in many aspects especially the call function. May not be well suited for smaller wrists. But its a personal choice.
I got this watch delivered 3 days back and I did a full charge. Battery is at 80%now! Thats amazing with all functions usage and wearing for 3days without taking it off the wrist IMO.
Huawei health app seamlessly syncs

The watch never failed to perform well in the last 3 months. I had been wearing 90percent of the time and use it as a fitness tracker. The call function is definitely a bonus.
The recordings are very accurate and I confirmed it using Omron heart rate monitor.
The watch is really great if you are looking for that extra bit of motivation especially while running. It gives you info as to improve your fitness to a level above the previous recorded data.

A BEAST in hand
The first smartwatch that I brought and which turned out to be pretty amazing.The display ,fit and vibe -Eveything is top notch .
The best feature is to answer the call via the inbuilt mic and speaker -You won't even have to pick up the phone and I can tell how useful it is when you are quite busy.
Heart rate sensor as well as other sensors arequite accurate so no problem in that.
Huwaie health app is user friendly and syncs well with the watch -In addition to that there is also stress level and sleep patterns recording and that works pretty well too.
Value -Bang for the buck as I got it for 12999 with free AM61 earphones and it turned out to be a pretty good deal
Battery wise it is phenomenal -Got 70 percent when unboxed and its been one day and it only drooped to 62 even with medium usage.
Cons - 1) Should have provided a screen or tempered guard -I really don't know how much stratch resistance it is
2) In the health app there is no option to change watch faces although you can change it in the watch itself but what about the additional watch
faces Hope it is resolved soon
