Straightforward (but not easy) repair for leaky Grohe Ladylux Plus faucet
It's pretty awesome that Grohe engineered their expensive faucets to use a relatively inexpensive one-piece replacement part to address leaks. My 10+ year old Ladylux Plus started leaking from the handle and googling the symptoms brought me to this cartridge on Amazon.
The replacement cartridge was less than 10% of the cost of the original faucet and took me about 90 minutes to replace. Most of that time was trying to figure out how to remove the handle so I could gain access to the cartridge. If I had to do it again, it would probably take 10 minutes.
Once you get the faucet handle off, replacement is relatively straightforward. Getting the faucet handle off mine was not easy. There is one screw to undo, but the handle was stuck firmly in place even after removing it. I ended up manhandling it off using a mallet to bang firmly but gently on the handle (not sure this helped that much) and screwdriver as a lever (this did the trick). I wedged the shaft of a flathead screwdriver between the short tail side of the handle and the cylindrical metal casing and levered it until it finally came off. As I worked on it, the entire old cartridge started to come apart inside. This disturbingly increasing looseness felt like I was breaking the whole faucet, but once I got it apart I realized that the old cartridge was taking the brunt of the force.
I've attached a photo showing how the Ladylux Plus handle connects to the cartridge. The new cartridge is already installed. In my particular scenario, I had to re-use a few external fittings from around the original cartridge - the white collar around the cartridge as well as a plastic fitting that connects the metal elbow that the handle screws into. There's some gunk on the metal elbow where it attached to the handle - mineral deposits or corrosion that formed over time which I think made the handle hard to separate from the elbow. There were some leftover unnecessary parts that came in the new cartridge box that I didn't need.
Protips:
Cover your drain before unscrewing anything. You don't want to lose any parts down there.
Take several sharp photo of the old cartridge and fittings as you take it out so you can recall how parts were oriented.
Set aside plenty of time to work on this. If you're not mechanically inclined, invite a friend to hang out with you who is.
All in all, I'm glad I was able to replace the cartridge and not the entire faucet. I do wish I had a photo like the one I'm attaching to guide me - all the diagrams I found were helpful but not literal enough to hint me into how much force I ended up needing to apply to get the handle off.

Save a small fortune by replacing a leaking cartridge
This Grohe cartridge replaces an older Ladylux design that had three separate black rubber seals that disintegrate over time. The older seals should be discarded when replacing with the 46 048 000 which has an integral silicone rubber seal. As others have noted, the most difficult aspect of replacing the cartridge is removing the handle which may have been in place for 20 years. Care must be taken to avoid marring the housing and handle. Once the retaining screw was removed, I was successful in removing the handle with a plastic wedge that was notched to fit on either side of the handle when it is in the middle position. Gentle tapping on the wedge ultimately induced the handle to back off. Wooden wedges could also be used. If in the process of changing the cartridge the fixture loosens from the counter top, do not forget that the Ladylux has the simplest tightening mechanism of any fixture. The spout that holds the spray head can be removed from the base exposing a tightening nut. No basin wrench needed.

Missing key part that you need to repair your faucet
There is a part that connects the cartridge to the handle that is NOT included in the kit (and that doesn't seem to be available from anybody). The instructions say to take the part off the old one - there is no way you can get that part off of the old cartridge unless you have a practically new unit, and if your unit is new you won't be replacing the cartridge anyway.

Perfect replacement for my Grohe Bridgeford faucet
I noted that there was a slow leak coming from my six year old Grohe Bridgeford faucet, from right around the handle area. I did a google search and found that this was due to the cartridge, and that it needed replacement. Further googling I found that the cartridge part number for this faucet is 46048000.
This particular faucet model is discontinued but replacement parts are still available. I found a plumbing supply shop that had the part, but on a whim, I decided to check Amazon.. lo and behold, here it is and at half the price of the plumbing supply shop. The relatively low price was a surprise, given that the cost of the faucet was an arm and a leg.
This is an OEM replacement unit from Grohe, so no issues here. For the most part, the cartridge is exactly the same as the one I am replacing. However, my faucet had a rubber O-ring while this replacement model had a plastic sleeve. No problem - I just reused my old O-ring.
Replacement was very straightforward, and I took care to take my time. I didn't take photos but I should have in order to remember the exact positions of the handle before I started. But that only slowed me down by a minute or so. You will need a phillips head screwdriver, and a 2.5 mm allen wrench. You will also need to shut off the water that feeds into this faucet. I estimated it took me 30 minutes (just being extra careful and examining each piece, testing the fit, positions, cleaning the reused parts, etc.) total. If I had to do it again, I could do it in 15 minutes now that I know what to do.
I have another one of these faucets in the house, and if I was smart, I should buy another unit for that faucet, just in case (which at some point, the cartridge will need replacement in the future due to daily usage).

Hard to get old parts out but flow is best ever now.
Old 20 y old Lady lux kitchen faucet was severely corroded. Difficult to get the lever off and the old cartridge out but I was successful after reading the reviews and watching YouTube videos. 9/32 socket essential. Can’t understand why the lever attachment isn’t included in the package. That’s the most important part of the cartridge attachment. Couldn’t find it online. I used old attachment but it was corroded and partially digested by CLR but it worked. Used an improvised plastic bottle (old medicine bottle sealed with gorilla tape and drilled to allow small funnel) to soak the outflow ports with CLR with good results.

A Great Valve Made Better
I replaced a leaking cartridge after 12 years of very heavy use in a Ladylux kitchen fixture. This is an improved unit and clearly the folks are Grohe are big on product improvement. This is a breeze to install - 10-14 minutes is all you need. This cartridge goes into many units so you might wind up with extra parts. The price of the unit is very fair considering the excellent reliability. Couldn't recommend a product higher.

Excellent product, installation was straightforward
Just when I thought I'd have to buy another faucet, Grohe saved me with excellent support. A call to their support number got me the part ID, and they said "Just buy it on Amazon." Also, excellent support in the Amazon Q&A by the manufacturer's support tech, Cody S. The part went in easily on my 1999 Europlus faucet and after I snugged everything up, the faucet works very smoothly, like new. No leaks either! Very pleased with part and support from Cody S (manufacturer's tech support for this part on Amazon).

bought this to fix a leak at the handle on my grohe kitchen faucet. The instructions included weren't much help, but I found several useful videos on youtube that showed how to disassemble the faucet and replace the cartridge. I am now leak free and it feels like a brand new faucet.

Not the same color - and install info
The part worked well, but the one I received was not the one pictured. It is the blue version - not sure what the difference is. Note that there are no instructions in the package - you will need your original manual or can look it up on the Grohe website. One important install note that is not provided by Grohe - Guide and Slide ring install - place it on the cartridge such that the tabs will be at the bottom of the cartridge (first part to enter the faucet) and the Largest Tab should be facing toward the back of the faucet. If you don`t do it this way, the outside collar will not properly fit.

Not all Ladylux models use this cartridge !
There are two versions of the ladylux kitchen faucets. This cartridge does not fit mine (shown), which apparently uses part # 07 000 000. It took me a while to find a plumber who was interested in fixing my 25 year old Grohe. Now I find that I've got the wrong part. Probably too late to return the part. :(

Pay Attention to Instructions
I have a Grohe kitchen faucet so have to use this cartridge. It does take some time to install and one has to get all the parts back in properly. I think the quality of the product is good and will buy one again if needed. I should be better at installing it the next time!!

Works well for my Grohe kitchen faucet. I fixed a leak coming out the the top of my faucet. I didnt use some extra parts that cam with it. The black threaded band didn't seem to screw into the top body of my faucet so I used the existing band.

Grrrrrrrohe!!! But now all's well!
I was so frustrated with my faucet I came close to replacing it. Were it not such an expensive fixture that's probably exactly what I would have done. Luckily I found this on Amazon and took a chance. It was a simple fix and I haven't had any trouble since. I'm tempted to buy a second to have it on hand for the next time (I know there will eventually be a next time). All's well for now and I'm very happy with this purchase.

Quick delivery, but this part has not stopped our drip! Probably the fault of the grohe faucet, nothing to do with Amazon who did deliver fast and at a, as always, reasonable price.

No more leaking! I just used this to fix my 1997 Grohe Euro Plus Kitchen faucet. I'm a 65 year old female and it took me less than 10 minutes from start to finish. If you pay attention when you take the faucet apart, you'll have no problem putting it back together -- even without directions.....

Easy to replace, once you get the handle off the faucet. You have no choice, and the handle removal can go easy, or not. If not, be ready to drill out the setscrew.

The correct fit.
This cartridge was the exact replacement we needed for our Lady Lux faucet. I am very glad that Amazon carries replacement parts for this faucet. We needed this and a quick connect coupler. This is the third time we've needed to replace these 2 items in 11 years.

Worked great to stop leaking faucet
Got this to solve under-sink in-cabinet leakage from a Grohe faucet. It's annoying that these cartridges don't seem to last more than a few years for us, but Amazon's price on this is great, it only took a few minutes to swap out, and we no longer have a puddle of water in our cabinet.

Faucet now is like new!
Our original Ladylux Plus (33 737) started to leak after 15 years. Replacing the cartridge went well. Removing the handle with the suggested 3 mm Allen wrench though was futile. Used a 9/32 socket wrench which made the job considerably easier. Faucet now is like new!
