Finally a good showerhead, forget those stainless steel 304 items for 35 - 65 euros, tried 3 so far for in total a half year, all got rust on them!! It's not a hobby to replace the showerhead every 2 months!! This one from the A brand Grohe should give us rest and peace in the shower now, thank you for still making quality products!

Genuine Grohe and one awesome showerhead
It's a 1.75 gpm, water saver showerhead, so I was concerned about the volume. After having it installed, I love it. You would never know that the showerhead saves water, because somehow, it makes it feel like more water is coming out than my old, non-water saving setup. The product is a genuine Grohe and it's a quality item.

Large, wonderful rainfall shower head
I replaced a cheaply made small rainfall shower head with this one. I separately purchased a long arm so that it would work for my shower and some shower tape so it would be a snug fit. It took me (petite female, capable with tools) less than 15 minutes to remove my old, rusted, shower head and put this one on. The hardest part was how large it is and so a bit cumbersome. It was WELL WORTH IT. I have good shower pressure, but that is not what this is about, and you should know that. This is not about a torrential downpour. This is not about a hurricane. You should not buy this if you want to feel like you're getting a massage via downpour.
This is an East Coast summer rainfall -- lovely, and relaxing, where the air smells like asphalt and happiness afterward and kids play in puddles.... This is NOT a 3pm daily Florida monsoon where people take cover. Know what you're looking for, and enjoy your new shower experience. I know I am.

First, the pros, the head is gorgeous as is all Grohe finishes....
very well designed spray pattern... a lot of the Grohe price is in the finish...not just the looks, but the durability, Grohe finishes LAST! I have been installing Grohe Fixtures for 25 yrs now, and many of the original fixtures still look as good as new.
As for the slight downer... its water flow. AS everyone knows, there is water limitations on plumbing products, so Grohe must follow these limitations. This head puts about 1.75gpm...not a lot for a big head... with more openings, you get reduced pressure. So the flow is not strong for sure.... however, much of this depends on your water pressure. If you are running 80psi pressure, this head performs well, very acceptable, not amazing though, as it still has a flow limiter. I turned down my water pressure to 55psi, which some homes have, and the flow is a bit too slow to get excited about any rain head like this, its not unique to the Grohe head. So first check your pressure...if too low, can can you put a booster on it ? At 80psi, I think you will be happy with the head, its a joy having it rain from above...but if you have <60psi, u might be dissapointed.... with any rain head, not unique to this one...
I went with 4 stars, as I think Grohe should explain this in their advertisement so users know what to expect.... otherwise, I would have to give it 5 stars... performs well, looks amazing, with Grohe quality.

Starlight Chome Version is mostly Plastic on the Outside; Looks Great
The Grohe 26570000 rain shower mono 310 cube shower head in starlight chrome is a real looker. At just over 12 inches by 12 inches, it produces a rainfall shower pattern suitable for sharing. It has 121 nozzles, spaces about 1 inch apart, which together can only deliver 1.75 gpm, which is a laughably small flow rate for a rainshower head of this size, but is limited by US regulations. I really hate flow restrictors. I take shorter showers, and would appreciate a higher flow rate, which would allow them to be even shorter!
As others have said, the satisfaction you get from this shower head will be proportional to your bathroom's water pressure. While the web page says it weighs 7 pounds, I placed in on a kitchen scale, and the Starlight Chrome version came in at 4 pounds, 5.9 ounces. I thought that this was stainless steel, but lightly tapping on both sides, it sounds (and feels) like plastic. For that, I'm disappointed.
This comes with Grohe's "speed clean anti-lime" system, which translated by me, means 'silicone nozzles, that you push with your finger to dislodge calcium hard water deposits’. I've had less than perfect luck with similar product claims by other manufacturers, so we'll have to wait to see how well Grohe's work.
Overall, the Mono 310 in Starlight Chrome is a really nice looking shower head. Is it worth $272 (current sale price)? Your call. For me, I really thought I'd be getting metal, and not plastic shower head for that price, especially when ordered from Grohe.

If you like really thin rainshowers...
Although not as heavy as the ridiculous weight of the Grohe Allure 230 (which is actually smaller too!), the Mono 310 is still a pretty heavy rainshower, so you definitely need to change your showerarm as well for it to support it.
While Grohe has a premium look, I don't feel the performance merits the high price. I also tried a much cheaper rainshower and the pressure force is way better than the amount these Grohe rainshowers put out.
Personally, I don't feel I'm getting my showers worth under these. Honestly, I can care less about aesthetics because in the end, it's about the actual shower experience. Sorry, but I think Grohe showers are overpriced and there are much cheaper alternatives that perform way better; although they may not look as nice.
If you like super thin flow and care more about the aesthetics, these may be for you.

What a difference a higher-end shower head makes...
Prior to this showerhead, I had never used any Grohe products. In terms of high-end kitchen and bathroom fittings, I was more familiar with Moen, Kholer, and Delta. But having used the Grohe Rainshower Mono 310 Cube showerhead, I now firmly believe that Grohe is every bit as good as those other more well-known brands. Or perhaps even better.
First, the showerhead is *very* heavy. In fact, when I first installed it, the arm on which I installed this showerhead noticeably drooped a bit under the weight of the head. I ended up taking the head back off and making sure to tighten the arm as much as was possible before putting the head back on the arm.
When I fired up the showerhead for the first time, I was shocked by how much I liked it. To be clear, I've always preferred more forceful showerheads, but I've been going with rainfall-style showerheads recently because they don't use as much water, which is better for the environment (and for my wallet!). Occasionally, I'll come across a showerhead (usually in hotels) that manages to balance water pressure with a rainfall-esque head, but it wasn't until this Grohe Rainshower Mono 310 Cube showerhead that I managed to achieve this delicate balance in my own home.
This showerhead is a 1.75gpm head, which, in my experience, is on the higher end of water output for rainfall-style showers. In terms of actual usage, this translates to a really nice shower experience: I always feel as though I'm getting properly "soaked" when I use this shower head. Plus, the actual rainfall has just enough pressure to ensure that rinsing shampoo and conditioner from my hair doesn't take twenty minutes.
If there's a downside to this showerhead, it's the price; at the time of this review, the Grohe Rainshower Mono 310 Cube showerhead will run you over $340, which is quite expensive for just a showerhead (i.e. doesn't come bundled with the flow limiter or anything like that). GROHE 26570000 Rainshower Mono 310 Cube Shower Head, Starlight Chrome
This showerhead is absolutely stunning to look at. The very large cube-shaped head in shiny chrome just looks fantastic. However, usability and water pressure are a bit lacking. It's tough for me to be harsh with a Grohe product because I love this brand but this specific showerhead just comes up a tad short on the pressure even for a rainfall showerhead. This is really a showerhead you have to mount directly overhead to get the most out of the performance. Unless there is another way to increase the pressure a bit but still this is designed to be a rainfall showerhead which is not going to produce a high amount of water pressure. At least any that I have used. This one just has a little less than others I have tried but again is the largest surface area I have ever had as well.
My take, if your looking for the aesthetic appeal this is without a doubt one of the best looking shower heads I have ever used. Beautiful, super easy install
This thing is made so pretty. I do recommend at least a 17” shower arm. We bought a 12” at first and it was too close to the wall. Also, for most standard shower arm heights, it’s going to be very low with a straight arm. My husband is 5’11 and he had maybe 3-4” clearance above his head. We got a 17 in gooseneck shower arm from here on amazon. The Grohe one was really expensive so we got the Purelux one and I’m super happy with it. Since I’ve installed this twice, I can tell you, it is very easy to install. I did use an adjustable wrench to tighten the shower head onto the arm but I wrapped a piece of paper towel around the nut first so that it wouldn’t scratch. I have super hard water and after about 4 uses, when I went to change the shower head, all the water droplets just wiped off the finish like nothing. If you’re looking for pressure, look elsewhere. This is a rainfall shower head and your mostly getting gravity from what I can tell. I can turn my face into the rainfall without feeling like someone is trying to put a fire out. Super pleased with this shower head.

Great showerhead
This is a really nice showerhead. It is easy to install and it looks really nice when installed. It does have a flow limited on it so that is a bummer but there are ways to increase the pressure. This thing is really big so remember that when you are looking to get one. Other than the size which didn't bother me this is perfect. Do you want to feel like you are in a rainfall, get it? Do you want something aesthetically pleasing? Got you covered. Want something tough? Here you go.
It took under a half an hour to install the head. You remove your old one and you install the new one. Make sure that you wrap some take around the threads in order to make sure the connection is tight and you are set.
If you want a good showerhead this could work. Remember that the pressure in your house might have an effect on the shower but other then that I really like it.

There must be enough water pressure ( we think )
I love this product. It is beautiful, it is sleek, it looks like a race car. And I really wanted it to work. Really looked forward to my rain shower. This thing is heavy and it took a little effort to install it. It was replacing a smaller regular type shower head. My wife and I looked at it installed and it looked so inviting. My wife was to be the first one to enjoy it. But, there was no rain shower, there were no sprinkles, there was just drops. Only drips of water, not enough to shampoo your hair or shave your beard. Barely noticeable. I removed the head, checked everything, all connection and reinstalled. No avail. It just did not work. So back to old shower head which works fine and with force. So there is something inside the Grohe that either restricts the flow or does some other funky thing. So sad it didn't work for us.

Large and Luxurious.
This is a luxurious shower head. It really defines what I think of when I hear RainShower. It is large at over a square foot in surface area. That size fits in 121 individual nozzles which creates a large coverage area. Grohe calls it DreamSpray. I think it is one of the best designs in a rain shower head. Unlike some heads it doesn't leak and drip for a long time after the water is turned off. I think it is a nicely evolved design.
The Starlight Chrome finish is flawless, uniform and brilliant. This head needs to be mounted in a plumb orientation so that the head sits level. It does feature a 10 degree swiveling ball joint to assist with positioning. The silicone nozzles are easy to keep clean and maintain, even if used with hard water. The 1/2" fitting and 1.75 gpm rating keep it in the WaterSense realm while providing a good rain shower experience. 5 stars.

Great rain head -- mostly plastic construction
I like this rain head a lot. It is indeed mostly plastic construction and not the heavy duty metal that I have come to expect from higher end Grohe fixtures. However, I believe this was done to save weight. Even with the body being plastic, it still feels substantial and somewhat heavy to mount. I also don't mind that this is plastic because I will hardly ever be touching it (only to clean). Grohe does a great job making their plastics look great, and this is no exception -- I just hope it will last a long time.
Rain shower heads feel quite different than regular shower heads. Many people love it, many people dislike it. I would recommend you try one out before spending the money and purchasing one. Many of the nicer hotels have them.

Exactly like standing in the rain
A lot of people write reviews for these lovely showers expecting it to feel like an intense downpour and that's not what a rain shower is going to give you, it's meant to feel like a light summer rain shower and I think Grohe does that excellently. It's nice and light and relaxing and feels amazing as a way to de-stress after a long day, I also had a secondary shower wand installed for when I don't need to relax, I just need to wash the deep conditioner out of my hair. If you're looking to relax and have a stylish chic shower head that impresses anyone who enters your bathroom go for this one, if you're a speedy just trying to get in and out before work shower person you may want to keep looking.

Soft Rain Shower
I do enjoy rain shower heads, and this one by Grohe is a classic look and feel rain shower. Grohe always puts out quality products that tend to last. I do like the style of this one, it has very modern look to it. I did expect it to be all in metal, especially for the price, although the plastic portions of it do feel sturdy to me. The overall finish is absolutely gorgeous.
The fixture was super easy to install! I did expect to lose some pressure because of the wideness of the face distributing the water, although I lost a little more than I had hoped. Don’t get me wrong… I like a good rain shower and wasn’t expecting this to have the same pressure as a regular shower head, it just seems a little light for my tastes.

Beautiful but useless
Excellent looks but it failed with the anemic water pressure, my wife was so thrilled once we finished our bathroom remodeling and once she took her first shower I could see her disappointment on this rain shower, well more like a summer sprinkle. We appreciate saving water and saving resources but they pushed it a little too much on this bathroom fixture. I ordered another brand with a flow of 2.5 gpm with excellent reviews from amazon to remediate our situation. Definitely not recommend.

Gorgeous rain shower head!
The shower head is beautiful. It's aesthetically pleasing to the highest degree. The silicone nozzles really make it easy to clean and the durable coating is nice for keeping it clean as well. As with other reviews it's quite heavy and the water pressure plays a huge role in the final product. We decided we wanted it on the other side of the shower (we're remodeling). Once it's in its final place we'll update the review. But as of now, looking at the connector it seems simple like any other shower head. Grohe is a reliable brand and I currently recommend this product.

Feels like a hotel luxury shower
This shower head was easy to install. Just make sure you have the proper tubing from the wall. This is a wide shower head. The shower head has a shiny chrome look that really shines in my bathroom. There is no adjustment for water flow or water placement. It feels like a soothing rainfall. I do wish the water pressure was a bit more but I think that might be a combined issue of my home's pressure and the overall space of the entire shower head.

Top of the line but expensive
I really like the quality and look of Grohe plumbing products, but this thin rain shower fixture is just too expensive for what it is. It's also heavy, so you may have to change your plumbing arm that holds it. I have used plastic rainshower heads that work just as well, so as good a product as this brand is, I have to downgrade it on price. Otherwise it is an excellent product.

Large, great quality and has an amazing appearance. The installation process was pretty smooth. Covers quite a wide surface area. And the rainfall style water spray is really a luxurious experience. It is gentle, soothing, and relaxing. A bit pricey but you get the quality, luxury, and amazing experience.

Refreshing and powerful
I am thrilled with this shower head. The coverage is great and makes it feels so refreshing! It was easy to install and works great with the existing plumbing. It looks great and is attractive. I had my handyman install is for me and he was impressed with the quality and workmanship.
