OK printing, OK software, great price for a dedicated color label
We looked around for a while to get a good label machine. Most companies are looking for $7K and up for their machines, and while those do run quicker (8 labels a second) the C3500 does not seem to be a slouch.
We print on glossy paper, and have some poly to try out. The colors stay (pigment inks are better than dye) and look OK. This printer does have some banding, and the print driver does some strange things at times with the information from Corel, but worlds better than Primera. Plus, I fully trust epson's hardware, there is a reason all of these small printer companies use their heads... they just work.

So I did do the square trade warranty on this unit, but I dont think we will actually need it.

50,000 LABELS BEFORE FAILURE
This is our second Epson TM-C3500 and we'll buy a third when this one dies. It's a reliable, flawless printer for us for printing wine labels. Everyone knows that the manufacturers are sticking it to us on ink prices. But at least this one is reliable, runs without problems, doesn't need nozzle cleanings except rarely and is a workhorse. It's small, and versatile in terms of paper feed. With the pigment ink, our poly wine labels could go right into a tub of water and ice right after printing and never bleed. All in all, just what we need.

Do your homework when looking for this printer. I have seen better offerers less expensive and offering $200 worth of free labels

Does not print black
Black comes out like gray, very blotchy. We tried changing the cartridges and still nothing. Also the print quality sucks. You can't read small letters. The same label I've been printing from my $80.00 cannon printer has higher quality than this over priced junk.

DO NOT BUY IF USING MAC. PLEASE DO NOT BUY
I have the C3500 and it's a real pain. Then you have to spend another $300 on software just to print. If you have a PC it might work out the box for you but for Apple Users please get the other models that support Mac. They did not say it would not work with Apple anywhere, Used ink, Used everything then when Im trying to get it to work I had to research to find out.
The only reason for delay in installing COVID and had to wait for new office. Now I lost $1400 PLEASE DONT DO IT.

Leider hatte ich immer wieder Pech mit den Ersatzpatronen für unseren Epson Labeldrucker. Eine Reihe von Anbietern verkaufen bei Amazon nur halb gefüllte Patronen, die jedoch Originalpatronen sind (Verpackung, Beiblatt und Labels der Patronen). Vorsicht hiervor!
Das ist hier glücklicherweise nicht der Fall. Die Patrone wird als komplett gefüllte Patrone angezeigt und druckt farblich korrekt. Sehr gut!

Patrone scheint eine Originalpatrone zu sein. Leider zeigt der Drucker nach dem Einsetzen und dem Initialisierungsvorgang an, dass diese Patrone nur halb gefüllt ist. Hier hätte ich mir einen Hinweis des Anbieters gewünscht, dass nur teilgefüllte Patronen angeboten werden. Besser nicht wieder kaufen. Farbqualität passt.
