I saw a bunch of nonesense reviews about this, so had to post this when I saw what I actually received:
a) It is authentic (attached image)
b) It was shipped by Office Depot (not some swindler)
c) Ordered in 2018. Manufactured in 2017. Lasts for 10 years...

The best battery

Duracell is my go to brand for batteries. They are the longest lasting batteries which deliver the most consistent quality. Incredibly reliable. These D batteries are no different. They are simply better than the competition. They are not the cheapest but they are the best 100 %. 5 stars.

Definitely will buy again

We bought this CopperTop D Alkaline Batteries with the reclosable package. These batteries are great for devices that get a lot of use and will last for a long time. These Duracell batteries were really durable, especially for high drain products.
These batteries are of high usage and still living up to their promise! Love the Duracell brand and the CopperTop Alkaline batteries are now our go to battery brand in our household!!

It may not be a good idea to purchase batteries in this way!

I purchased 2 packages of 8 batteries. The first eight did not work. They were dead. The second eight did work. Since there apparently is no way to return them, a review is in order.

Damaged

Package looked old and damaged, couldn't read the exp date. Blister pack not clear and had a foggy presentation. Opened it and the paper packing on the edges was hard to remove. Tiny shreds to get to the plastic edging. Opened blister lackage eventually and found a greasy liquid inside which upon inspection did not have any odor. Unclear if this is battery leakage or some foreign substance. Immediately brought to recycling center and did not use due to the fact that i had no idea what was going on with these batteries. What a waste of money! Wont buy batteries sight unseen again. Very disappointed.

As expected

Unlike some comments I read, the packaging seemed original. Based on Duracell's 10 year lifespan, the date on the battery indicates they were made in 2019; so buying them in April 2020 means they've been "on the shelf" for a little while. But as I use D batteries rarely, I did not want extra batteries lying around, so I'm glad Amazon had the 2 pack as my local stores did not.

I have had very good luck with Duracell batteries for some time. I can't remember the last set I had leak. And they last a long time in storage. The set I was replacing still worked fine in an emergency flashlight I only use occasionally. But they were 4 years past their storage date, so I was being proactive to ensure it worked if there was an emergency.

Good Dependable Batteries

I've always been a Duracell fan...well not always, but made the switch a while back. Slightly less expensive than the other main brand and seem to last a good long time. Although it seems that you can run into one now and then that does not last long at all. I get that more with then AA and AAA batteries, but I have noticed it on more than one occasion. So some QC issues in them factory I think or they are sitting in storage too long.

But I digress...these are good batteries. Not a lot of money to save buying on Amazon versus Home Depot, but it saved me a trip and I was not in a hurry.

I called Duracell. They do not recommend buying Duracell batteries here. Couldn't bring themselves to say, Knockoffs.

Good for camping

I try to buy rechargeable batteries whenever I can however in this particular instance i found myself going in a camping trip and would most likely not have been able to recharge batteries and because of this i opted for the normal alkalines. duracell batteries have never let me down and in a pinch, I would had to make due with this set of batteries which served their purpose well, however i am regretting not spending the extra couple dollars for the rechargeables which are not sold on amazon.

Over heated in my motion light. Defective.

The batteries worked for a few hours in my motion light and then stopped working. The labels peeled back from the batteries and no longer worked. I suspect they over heated? Never seen a battery malfunction like this. Won’t buy batteries from amazon again.

Fraud used batteries

Stop fooling people Gayathri agencies. The packaging was open when the batteries arrived. Not sealed. As u can see in photos. Moreover, the date on the battery doesn't match the date on the packaging. Proof that they are used batteries. Also, the batteries are disfigured from the bottom. Absolutely ridiculous.

Did not even last as long as other ordinary cells lasted

I ordered the Duracell batteries knowing that they would be costly but will last long, but when i used them in my kids toy, they dint even last for half the duration that other cells i used lasted. May be i got used batteries as i received the package in open condition even after asking for replacement of 1st package which was also received in open condition. Dissapointed.

Really 10x longer lasting

Really 10x more power than other batteries like Eveready. It really lasts long. I have been using these batteries in Blood Pressure Monitor for 1 year with 1-2 tests daily. Still they are as good as new.
Duracell can do more than 500 BP tests but Eveready can do only 20 tests.

Bad product supplied by the seller

I bought 8 batteries and 6 batteries were rusted and they are very hot. I am not able to return the same.

Very bad product sold by this seller. Amazon team need to intervene and resolve this issue.

ALL THE BATTERIES LEAKED INSIDE THE REMOTES. FAKE

BAD PRODUCTS. ALL THE BATTERIES LEAKED INSIDE MY AMAZON FIRESTICK REMOTE, AS WELL AS THE TV REMOTE AND THE SET TOP BOX REMOTE. THE REMOTES STOPPED WORKING AND WHEN I CHECKED, FOUND THAT BATTERIES HAD LEAKED. LUCKILY, THE REMOTES DID NOT GET SPOILED AND WORKED WITH BATTERIES WHICH I HAD BOUGHT LOCALLY.
I SHALL BE OBLIGED IF YOY WILL REPLACE THE USELESS SET WITH A NEW GOOD SET.

THE PRODUCT WAS FAKE AND AMAZN REFUSED TO ACCEPT REPONSIBILITY. DISGUSTED CUSTOMER

Didn’t lasted an fortnight :/

Cells stopped within one fortnight, I didn’t believed the negative reviews and thus wasted my hard earned money in which I could have purchased normal AA batteries which would have worked for 6 months. I am surprised that cloudtail is the seller. Either Duracell is supplying 10 year old cells in new packing to Amazon or these cells are fake but whatever it is, they are a waste of money which is why I am writing this long review. Don’t but these from Amazon , better buy the any brand (even Duracell) from loval market as you may pay double for that but your money won’t go down the drain. Rest the decision lies on you.

Great set of batteries.

Compared to other batteries. Duracell does last a good amount of time. I use Duracell for my blood pressure monitor. They last almost a year with every day use. I would recommend not to use them in wall clocks and other similar devices. As it decreases the efficacy of the battery. Best gadgets to use them in are children's toys, remotes, weighing scales, etc. Bought it at Rs 267 for 8

Very very POOR quality, just playing with customers.

Received this product (Duracell 9V Batteries) on 6th July'20. Used it in our Remote Infrared Thermometer on 7th July'20 . To my shock yesterday i.e. on 17th July 20 Thermometer went blank asking for new Battery. It did not work even for ten days whereas ordinary 9V batteries lasts for minimum 30 days. Don't buy please. They are diluting old rejected stocks.

Not a good online ordering option

I would advise to refrain from ordering online as my experience with the pack is very disappointing as it was partially opened and it seems used batteries were kept inside which did not last for more than 2 days as compared to original Duracell which works for months.

I have always admired buying product from Amazon and will still continue to do that but this is the first time the I didn't get product satisfaction as the battery was already open and seems to be used. I wanted to replace the same but the option for replacement was not available with this product. Other than the product and services are The Best.

Worst quality of duracell battery

Dura cell people believe is a best quality product,however I found this product supplied by Amazon is a worst product ,I complain to amzon to take up this matter with supplier as one pair battery in a remote did not run for a month but instead amazon customer care says to deal with d supplier directly as d return period of 10 days lapsed.I m being a prime member not happy with this type of dealing.

Drained batteries & no way to revert the product for replacement

I bought the batteries on 30th September. Absolutely disappointed with the batteries. I use 9V batteries for my guitar regularly. I had a music show 2 days back and I put the fresh battery (bought from here) , there was no signal. Then I put the other battery and the result was the same. I got both the batteries in the nearby electronic shop and they said the batteries are drained. Now I am clueless how to get the batteries replaced as there is no way to contact Duracell Call center and the seller Appario's contact number is also not available.
