El reloj es una preciosura, llamativo, elegante, distinguido. Me hubiera gustado que las manecillas tuvieran loom para verse en la obscuridad, pero no lo traen. Y el reloj inferior avanza la manecillla de los segundos de dos en dos, aunque no se atrasa.

First ... This watch is beautiful. It's large and chunky, both in the very best of ways. It looks great on your wrist. It's an impressive timepiece.
So, why the two stars ... well, though boxed beautifully with a leatherette pillow, this watch came with absolutely no instructions as to how to set it. There's nothing indicating the various functions.
This in the internet age, though, right? So I went searching for instructions and ... came up empty. I started at the Diesel website and their search engine is horrible. I finally found "some" instructions at another site, but those didn't include instructions for this specific model.
Note: my watch came with a tag indicating model DZ7424 (confirmed by etching on the back of the watch). There is a description here at Amazon which indicates DZ7417. The difference might be the color or fabric in the band, but I don't know. Regardless, I still couldn't locate any usable instructions.
I'm not sure if this is common, this is my first Diesel watch, but it's frustrating not to be supplied with a simple usage/instruction booklet. I checked the Diesel website and couldn't even locate this model.
All in all, this watch does have some sweet features, including a stopwatch, but I can't figure out everything, at least not yet, without instructions.

I've been in touch with Diesel who sent me a PDF that was useless, and then who directed me to Fossil (who makes Diesel watches) who sent me a direction PDF that, again, does NOT include my watch style or model number. Then, I was directed to my closest Diesel Boutique for assistance from a sales associate... except that I don't live anywhere near a Diesel Boutique. Crazy. Horrible customer service. Expect to do some serious guessing if you plan on setting this watch.

Diesel's Boltdown Chronograph Watch is big, big, big. When I took it out of the box, even knowing it was going to be big, I was taken aback by its size. Thankfully, despite the size the black and rose gold version is fairly subdued colorwise so it doesn't look too ostentatious. The materials used are all high quality and the watch looks and feels substantial and well made. The leather band is supple and soft.
The watch has a very interesting design. The crystal is bowl shaped and you can look through the sides. It is secured down with a stainless steel ring and 4 screws. The stainless steel case is finished in a brushed matte black. The watch's face is also finished in a matte black with touches of chrome rose gold. There are 3 fully-functional watch faces on this watch. There are two smaller ones on the left hand side. They both have individual crowns to their left. The main watch is larger and on the right. It has a date window, and two subdials. One dial is for seconds and the other is a 60 minute countdown timer. The hand that looks like the second hand is actually the second hand for the countdown timer. There are two buttons that surround the crown to operate the countdown timer. All of the watches are easy to read and can all be set to individual times.
I am a 5'6" and 135 pound male with slender wrists. I also like to wear my watches snug. I was fully prepared for this Diesel watch to not fit me. To my surprise, however, it fits fine. It's not heavy or cumbersome, and the watch band is accomodating enough for me to wear the watch snuggly above my wrist bone. The clasp can dig into my wrist at times, but it's not a problem most of the time.
All in all... large and in charge.

This watch comes with three dials for time down to the second, and two displays for the stopwatch. The main dial has clearly demarcated time down to the second, while the other two are more estimates outside the cardinal directions. Each time can be set separately with the idea of having the main dial being the local time, and the other dials for different times. I set one of the side dials to GMT for system time, the other to DC time (ET), and the final to my local time zone. The setting is straightforward for the minute hand, but synchronizing seconds is not possible so you have to time carefully with each of the side buttons. The stopwatch tracks up to 60 minutes, and the second countoff is accurate with the two inner faces on the main. Starting and stopping are different buttons, and the stopping button also will reset the watch.
At a 3 ATM rating, this watch should not go into a shower or a pool. The quartz action loses two to four seconds a day in a week of use (and is variable across the watch faces, so complete synchronization is a bit of a chore for the OCD part in me). You can even tell this from the advertising shots, and so, if you want perfect synchronization across times, this is probably not your watch. As long as you are willing to tolerate some desynchronization, this watch gives you a quick look for multiple zones as well as serving as a good chronometer stopwatch.
I will probably update this review when disassembling the back (the screw is not the standard watch size so I need to borrow a specialized toolset). I am somewhat curious about how this watch is powered whether each dial is powered separately or using one battery.

The watch arrives on a leather-like perforated pillow inside a black thick riveted cardboard gift box. It allows air flow through the box and around the watch. There is a generic watch care instruction laminated sheet with some basic watch care tips. The biggest thing to note from the card: Push the crown in completely before using your watch in or near water (this creates an airtight seal that protects your device).
This watch is water resistant to 30 meters - just make sure you push in the crown!
Out of the box, the watch is hefty and sturdily made. The watch band is a thick well-stitched leather with a caution tag: Don't Rub Me The Wrong Way - due to the unique treatment of this leather, material may rub off under extended friction. The back of the watch is engraved with a bit of information, and the Diesel watch logo of the man's head and the saying "Diesel - Only - The - Brave - Diesel" around it.
The watch has five crowns: three on the right, two on the left. The crystal is thick, and tinted a kind of brown/red oil looking color. It is neat but makes viewing the watch face more difficult. Basically, you need to look straight at the face or the glare from the sheen makes it hard to see. Overall, this sounds bad but looks really neat and only takes a few minutes to get used to. The bezel looks and feels like metal and is held in place by 4 small brown screws.
This is a nicely made, hefty daily wearing watch. I looks smart.

This is a big watch. It's 1 3/4 in diameter on the watch face. That's BIG. But on the other hand, it's not overly weighty on your arm. It's actually quite comfortable for it's size telling me it's a well balanced watch.
Now, I did not get the rose gold to black gradient watch like is displayed here. Also, I didn't get the large numbers on the face, I got bolder slashes at the main marks. But I think I like the one I got better. It's a completely black face with irridescent blue hands, so it's easy to see even though it doesn't have a light feature. This is the 2nd watch I've received with zero instructions. I'm not sure what the deal is now that these watches with multiple dials don't come with instructions any longer. I didn't have a hard time figuring it out, but the thing is, there are people who may not be able to get information on this via the internet, and honestly, there is not much about how to set this watch to be found. That should be corrected.
Other than that, this is a nice watch, I'll wear it quite a bit and it's nice to be able to set the times to the main dial at CST (my time) and the other 2 to EST and PST, since in my line of business I talk to people all over the country, so it works.

This gunmetal grey boltdown crystal watch is substantial and looks impressive although since the entire piece is grey-on-grey with no illumination or light-absorbing paint on the hands so the dial can be challenging to read depending upon the user’s vision.
The metal link wrist band at its largest measures approximately 8 1/2 inches and links may be removed to fit the wearer which may be done at a jewelry store or there are step-by-step instructions on the most popular video site detailing the procedure and tools needed.
The band has a safety clasp so if inadvertently unlatched it won’t be lost or damaged in a free-fall to the ground. The watch is 5/8 inches thick and the dial is approximately 2 inches in diameter—so it is quite large.
The watch can track 3 time zones, 2 are located on the left and the 2 stems on that side are used to set the time. The middle stem on the right sets the time on the main dial—and if extended half-way also sets the date window within that dial.
There are two sub-dials within the main dial. The top sub-dial tracks the minutes for the stop watch feature and the lower sub-dial is a second hand for the watch.
What looks like the second hand on the main dial is actually the second hand for the stopwatch feature. The top and lower buttons on the right side of the watch are used to operate the stopwatch.

This watch has a red iridescent face and light absorbing paint accents on watch hands, numbers and numeric indicators so it is reasonably easy to read. And, the stainless steel case has a black finish.
The crystal has a handsome boltdown framework and it is 5/8 inches thick with a dial that is approximately 2 inches in diameter. Simply put, this is a big watch.
The brown leather wristband can fit a wrist that is approximately 7 to 8 1/2 inches and between those two measurements are 10 holes in the band positioned 1/4 inch apart.

This is a very large watch. Although it’s not super heavy it does have a stainless steel bracelet that gives it some heft. It’s fifty six millimeters and looks awesome on my wrist. It looks at home and I like that I didn’t have to make it bigger or smaller. It fit perfectly on my wrist as is. It has three separate watches inside so I can set three different time zones If I wanted to. All three have a minute hand. The main quartz watch is also a chronograph and has screw down pushers for the water resistance. Although it can go underwater I’m not going to be bringing it anywhere near it. I like it to much to ruin it because I forgot to make it watertight first. Watch two and three can be set by pulling the pushers on the left side of the watch. Be sure to push them back in or if they get touched it may change the times on those two watches. The watch has been blacked out except for the date. The background is dark with white numbers for ease of seeing the date. The crystal is thick and is bolted down with four screws that hold it in place. You can see though the crystal on the sides and the screws that go into the body. It’s a large watch and it’s now part of my watch rotation. Came packaged well and was protected excellently for shipping. Four Stars!!!

This is my 2nd Diesel watch, (not to replace, but in addition), and I love this brand. The overall look is fabulous... masculine & rugged, yet elegant. It has a large face which makes it easy to read. 3 different time zone dials, day of month. Only improvement might be illumination. Super quality. Has steel segmented band. The 'Only the Brave' phrase is subtle and located under the edge of raised glass. Hubby took it to a watch shop to have a couple links removed from band for $8. (Note: watch shop commented favorably on the look and quality of this watch.)

I got my husband this watch since I just loved the look of it, when I received it it was bigger than I anticipated, I guess it never occurred to me to measure it, but my husband loved it so that was OK. The reason I am not giving this watch more stars is because there were no instruction included. I mean you can set the clock just fine but there are also 2 additional smaller clocks and my husband just wondered what they are for? Maybe we are overthinking it and you can just set 3 different time zones, but more information would have been appreciated. Overall very attractive but somehow I expected more.

This Diesel Boltdown watch has a black dial with three sub dials, iridescent crystal lens, chronograph movement and brown leather strap. The one I received has a brownish red tint to the face, and looks very masculine on, yet it is not a heavy watch to wear. Nor is it a big bulky watch.
It has a 56mm case, 26mm band width, mineral crystal, Quartz movement with chronograph analog display, a round stainless-steel case, with a Brown leather band. I like the fact that it states that it is water resistant up to 30m, and can withstand water splashes. This watch would make a very nice birthday, anniversary, or Christmas gift. I give this item a 5-stars rating.

I like the rugged look of this Diesel watch. It looks masculine with its burnished leather straps, and an attractive iridescent glass on the face that changes from orange hues to blues. There are multiple dials on the face in true chronograph style. It has a large face of 2 1/4 inches. The thickness of the face is slightly over 1/2 an inch. The leather strap with holes measures 4 3/4 inches long, while the strap with the buckle measures 3 inches. It didn’t come with a lot of instructions, please see attached picture for the information included. My husband really likes this watch, comes nicely packaged. Definitely recommend.

I ordered this timepiece (Diesel Boltdown Watch) for my husband. It is super rugged and fun. Out of the box it looks large. Ok, I initially described it as HUGE. But when worn, while it is definitely an eye-catcher, it is not overwhelmingly or gaudy. It has a genuine leather band (brown), with chrome accents and a black face. It was easy to set. On the face, there are three smaller clocks each with its own setting knob. One sets the main watch’s time and date, and the other sets the time in other time zones. It is not overly heavy and appears to be well made. I highly recommend it to men of all ages.

As other reviewers have pointed out, there was no manual, however one is not really needed. There are only three buttons. The crown which allows you to stop the hand movements/ change time, the reset stopwatch button, and the start stopwatch button . Thats it folks. The watch is water resistant as I can attest to the accuracy of such claim due to several vigorous hand washing's in this pandemic climate. It is a rather handsome watch, for which I have gotten several admiring acknowledgements from strangers. Recommend
