No temperature display in AC unit
Working fine but night time we cant see temperature number neither in remote nor in AC unit.. confusing design..to see what is the temperature we have to swith on mobile or some other light in room

The best Inverter AC in the market
My main greviance about this product is the time, manner of installation and the hassle involved in the installation of the product, where I had to run from pillar to post from contacting the brand executive on the toll free Number and the installation agency. After taking quite a lot of trouble, I got the AC installed. This is a second Daikin 5 star inverter AC I have bought. The first inverter 5 star inverter AC was bought through a leading “Brick and mortar” dealer in CHENNAI, and the installation and demonstration went on smoothly and quickly. The AC FTKP50TV, I have bought through AMAZON from Cloud tail is of premium quality and with many unique features like Coanda mode, quick chilling.It is very energy efficient. I am happy with the product in all respects, which has prompted my this repeat purchase of the 5star Daikin 5 star AC.

Best AC, Free installation & perfect machine.
The first quality machine.. O general, Daikin and Mitsubishi are on top in AC's. Among these three Daikin is the most affordable best AC.
Installation also good, it's free for inverter AC. Charges only if additional equipment required. Totally satisfied
It's ok if there is no temperature display.
We need long life products and Daikin will fullfill the requirement.

Regarding DAIKIN spare parts
Don't purchase this purticular model. Why because from the day one its flap motor is not working. I purchased on 28th march and installed on 4th April 2019, almost one month is over they didn't get the stepping motor part. What they said this spare is not available. Installation is also pathetic. Seriously I suggest don't buy online purticular this model. I requested to Daikin Office Mumbai if u people not getting spare part, Change the entire unit. I hope this review may help to the buyers. The pcb of purticular this not available. So don't purchase

Something Important to Know
Daikin India has decided not to pack basic setup things and charge customers for this. I am a customer from Kolkata. I got installation free and paid up ₹2340 for purchase of installation items. The outdoor bracket charge was ₹600(₹300 bracket charge and ₹300 installation charge). The technician decided to loot me by using vaccum pump and charge me ₹250. Please be advised that inverter AC with R32 refrigerant has to be installed with vaccum pump. It’s part of the installation package. Please do not pay for that. Also unique to Daikin, the input wire goes to the outdoor unit and the outdoor unit provides power to the indoor unit. Hence they are charging exorbitant charge of 3 core wire @₹40/ft. The drainage pipe was charged @₹30/ft
Now coming to cooling and performance. Simply awesome. The outdoor unit is super silent and the indoor unit cools extremely fast. There is no display on the indoor unit, no vertical swing, no glowing keys on remote. Daikin should have at least added this in a ₹50000 AC

Most power efficient (ISEER 5.33) 1.5 TON AC IN THE MARKET TODAY
The most power efficient 1.5 ton AC available in the market today. It cools 140 sq ft room in just 10 min and then maintains it well. Build quality, features and noise levels are top notch. Though it's costly, it completely justifies the value. Best AC I have ever bought.

Worst service of daikin and amazon
Don't buy daikin ac because so worst service and installation is so very bad. No electric cable for supply and illiterate worker team came for installation and they don't know how to connect main wire, they don't know how to connect stabilizer and mcb. They said electrician can connect mcb and stabilizers. So i am saying that don't purchase daikin but if you want purchase then purchase from flipkart That one is better than amazon .in

Good product but it somewhere disappointed me
Starting with the order placement
The order is received after 6 days
And the installation was scheduled for very next day
The installation process went very smoothly also it was free of cost under offer which is valid for 30 may "19
Cooling is nice as everyone says but i live in top floor which heats ... And for that i choose to buy an ac at first place... The cooling is fine for 34-40 temperature.. but as i notoced today the room is not cooling properly even after 2 hrs the outer temperature is 44 deegre .. so in my conclusion for the ac is good but it is not cooling well or fast in heating...
Another thing to keep in mind that it does not have temperature display in inner unit so no seeing temperature on ac for you... You can only see it in remote but in night it won't be visible in remote too because of no back lighting for remote display...
You won't know when the compressor is turned off when room is cooled as other ac brands..

Low Power Consumption
Indoor Unit makes some noise and the outdoor unit is silent.
The AC does not come with the power cord. so you pay for 3 core power cable (90/meter).
Don't buy the outdoor unit stand from the installation service provider, because they charge 3 times the retail cost of the stand.
Buy it from the market and the pay Rs. 250 to installation service provider to install the stand.

Please return if No Gas is present in brand new piece manufactured recently.
I recently bought this model. When it arrived the installation people said there was no refrigerant gas in the ODU. I said that then the product must be defective. They tried to convince me that its normal and they will fill it using vacuum pump and refrigerant gas. I called Daikin customer care and got a number to a Daikin tech person who told me that lack of gas in a brand new model means something is wrong and asked me to return it. He spoke to the installation persons and told them to issue me a job sheet mentioning gas leakage. I have returned it now. BEWARE: Please be aware that for a brand new piece manufactured in April 2019 no refrigerant gas in outdoor unit is NOT NORMAL.

Stopped working within 15 days
Within 15days it stopped working, contacted the service centre,they told issue is with the pcb, so still hung on my wall doing nothing as customer service from daikin is very poor and I think I got a defective product from amazon, very dissapointed with amazon as well.

Pathetic installation follow up. Had to send out 10 times requests to at the call centre for over 5 days. And still it wouldn’t get sorted.

4) Air throw is 15 feet!
5) Energy consumption is lowest amongst ALL Indian brands
6) Inverter tech maintains temp at constant level
Cons
1) No LED display on unit
2) HUGE outdoor unit, requires more space than other brands outdoor units
3) Price is more expensive than other brands
Would recommend this is the best AC in 5 star 1.5ton inverter split AC in India. Go for it

Brand matters....Buy if you are planning for long term benefits
Daikin is a Japanese company which specialises only in air conditioner and other petty chemical production spread across the globe.Every business looks for its sustainability and in order to sustain in this highly competitive world one has to be innovative...And before that one must understand it's core competence.
.....And Dainik very well understands it.....This AC is 5star, 5.30 IEER rated and consumed 1250 w power.Ordered the product on Amazon during lockdown and got it delivered with 2 days...Installed on the next day by Daikin Engineer....
The product comes with everything except a stand....That means one needs to procure a separate stand either from Amazon or liase with installation people for the stand..Which is obviously inflated.
Installation takes about 1.5 hours ...And there you go...Operation is very simple with a small remote provided with the ac.
As said...I had purchased Daikin with reason for reducing operational cost....U have two ways to reduce cost..Short term and long term..Short term..u buy a 5 start rated ac of any other kind with lower ISEER rating and continuously pay higher bill for life else buy Dainik...Invest a bit more....And benefit long term.
Operation is smooth with sound decible as low as 26 decible .It's efficiency is so good that it cools my room in just 5 min...You get all information in remote....No display of information in ac which is absolutely correct.Unlike other cheap branch..AC should cool air and not be a display unit......
In total I truly agree in a well tested statement....Spend a little extra......And get long term benefit....And yes brand matters....No everything can be made by eveeyone

Awesome product
I purchased this product on an offer so i have received discount as well as free installation during February 2019. I am really happy till date with the products performance. The output units noise is next to none and the cooling power is awesome. I also appreciate how the technicians mount the indoor and outdoor unit efficiently. On the energy efficiency stuff - I have used the product daily for 9 hrs in night and 3 hrs afternoon and the electicity unit is near to 100 units in a month extra after installation. I would highly recommend this product to the buyers.

Great ac, horrible service
I got it installed finally after getting harassed by daikin installation team and scammed by amazon. Sounds great right?
I only turned it once after installation and the first impression of it is really good. Cooling seems extraordinary with little to no noise.
Installation process was horrifying and probably the worst of any electronic item i have ever owned. And amazon also scammed me of one of the promotions(echo flex) on ac so thats a cherry on top.
First installation team visit : a guy came, inspected everything then took around 30 mins to give an estimate of Rs. 13,000 which is about 30% of acs value which sounds ridiculous on its own. So, to sum up the first visit, guy came with intention to rip me off the amount and I obviously rejected this installation attempt.
Second team visit : another guy gave an estimate of around Rs. 6,000 which is half the amount what first guy said. You can tell that whoever daikin has given installation contract to are a bunch of low live thieves who lives on this scam.
Also, Daikin has this crazy term that screws over customer. You can't have third party guy to do the installation coz that voids warranty. So, you are stuck with either having to pay 13k or pray that you get a decent team who is not trying to scam you for some extra buck.
Daikin may make a good quality product but the installation experience has been horrible for me.
I was so close to returning it back to amazon. I really hope daikin improves on and regulates everything coz for now i cant even think of getting another daikin or even recommend it to anyone else.
To anyone reading this and have bought this ac, make sure you have installation team give you a quote on paper before giving them a go ahead coz they will most likely try to rip you off.

Very Poor Service from Daikin Installation
I had ordered Daikin 1.5 Ton 5 Star Inverter Split AC (Copper, FTKF50TV, White) on 11th April, which i received it on 15th April. But thereafter despite continuous follow up and making several calls to the Daikin service agent, the installation has not been done until 20th April. I am totally dissatisfied and do not recommend Daikin
