Great Value = good batteries + multitude of uses + equipment built tough
This combo is an amazing value. I use it all the time, batteries stay charged for a long time. I've built a 9ft cedar fence, gate, 30 ft of planters and knee walls, framed, hung pipes with straps and used it in all sorts of situation. When working with tools for extended period of time, esp. overhead, you want a light tool (anyone who swung 24" iron pipe wrenches for a few hours knows how nice it is to use aluminum ones). This tool is compact, will fit in tight spaces that square-bottomed battery drills will not, is well built (I dropped it a few times), and keeps chucking along just fine. Impact driver is great. Drill is good - wish it rotated a bit faster, but for light drilling in wood, plastic, plaster and drywall - it's fine.
Only nice thing would have been a built in belt hook of some sort, like the one's Milwaukee tools come with. It would make life easier when working on a ladder or using one hand to hold something in place while having to put the drill down. This is however, not a big deal. You can get a drill holster for a few bucks (maybe $9 here on amazon), and you are in business. Just wear some pants with a belt.
Also, do get one of those extension chucks - it will really let you get into tight corners.

Good for the price i guess
I was very excited and right out The gecko my Box had holes and look a little beat up. When I opened up the package everything inside was very good and very organized which I liked. One of the batteries was sorta ripped but not in a bad way for it to leak it was very disappointing. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars it's because of the price. Bosch is a great company i am surprised my delivery came this way. Still a great deal if you ask me. I just sort of received used stuff im guessing.

What happened to the quality!
When the trigger on impact gun is depressed the gun hesitates for a second and only the light comes on. I have this same impact gun manufactured 3 years ago and does not do this. This becomes a huge problem when working in tight areas. This model lacks the power also, I find myself using the drill to drive screws more than the impact gun!

refurbished CLPK22-120 kit (impact driver and drill) from VMInnovations works great
I was bummed when I missed out on the under $100 price on the Bosch drill on Amazon back in July, but elated to find that VMInnovations sells a refurbished combo kit of the drill and impact driver for the same price as a new drill. Impact drivers are super useful if you're installing lots of screws. I used mine to screw in wood screws for hanging shades. The impact driver worked way faster than using a drill to screw in screws into the wood frame of the windows. Before I bought the kit, VMInnovations answered my question over the phone and by email about the quality of the kit because it was refurbished. They were nice, responsive, and told me if they sell something refurbished, it means the manufacturer's standards. And they did. Bosch's refurb standard means the product and batteries have warranties as if they are new. They also work as if they are new. I'm satisfied with my purchase from VMInnocations for the refurbished drill and impact driver kit. I hope this review is helpful to anyone else considering the refurb kit.

Cheap quality
This is the worst product I ever purchased in Amazon, the quality is not made in Germany at all! I always use to love Bosh, I even lived 10 years in Germany that’s why I only choice Made in Gemenay because they always use to have the best product! This one is ( Schrot ) garbage!! I use this drill for 2 weeks and it’s already broken! The Return bottom is Brooken! Never again! Don’t buy it if you are looking for a good drill!

AN ABSOLUTE A MUST-HAVE IN EVERY PROFESSIONAL OR DIY HOME!
I've been quite a Makite-snob for the majority of my life. I know Bosch products have a great reputation for quality and dependability...after watching several YouTube videos on these drills I decided to give it a try. I actually bought two sets of these, one for a gift and the second for us. After I charged them we put them to the test. We drove multiple 3" screws into various woods to see if the impact driver could handle basic tasks...it did with ease. We then continued increasing the length and diameter of the screws just to find it's limits. In the end, we were screwing 10", 1/2" lag bolts into pressure treated posts and the impact driver performed flawlessly to my surprise! We were initially using our 18v Makita impact driver assuming the 12v Bosch would not even come close until the Makita battery died. Rather than wait for our Makita to charge, we decided to give the Bosch a try...to our surprise, the Bosch actually was able to drive the 10" bolt 80% of the way into the pressure treated post! We built a pergola over the past week and we used a combination of both the Makita and the Bosch drills...the Bosch performed fantastically! These drills are an absolute MUST for every homeowner and even professional contractors. Let's be honest, 98% of the jobs we do around a house are not focused around driving 10", 1/2" lag bolts into pressure-treated wood; most jobs are hanging pictures, doors, windows, etc. These drills are lightweight, perfectly balanced, fit great in both my hand as well as my wife's hands and are less cumbersome to carry than my Makita. We find ourselves reaching for the Bosch over the Makita when it comes to general DIY projects around the house just for the size, weight and portability, and overall power of them. I'm still hooked on my Makita but Bosch has absolutely found a permanent place in our workshop and we will now continue buying additional Bosch and Makita products as needed.

Powerful and small 12v tools!
UPDATE (additional IMPACT drill info)
The impact driver started to become useless. The occasional issue I noted in my original review became more evident. Instead of dealing with online returns I went to a big box store and bought this combo again. Original drill is still going strong. Something to note, the aftermarket batteries work great in all my tools of this brand except the impact driver. I believe it’s the function of the impact driver itself. The new impact, while being used with an aftermarket battery, will not always respond with a trigger pull. I believe the aftermarket batteries are just off enough that the connection is loose when the impact drill is impacting. This does not happen with the factory batteries, nor does any other tool act this way with the aftermarket batteries. Word to the wise, if you get aftermarket batteries don’t use them on the impact because I do believe the connections are weak due to the nature of how the impact works. It shakes the battery and I don’t feel the connectors on the aftermarket batteries can take it.

I bought the 1/4 hex driver and loved it. I wanted the full line of these small and powerful 12v tools so I bought this combo. Impact wrench kills a battery faster then the drill and the 1/4 hex driver, but that’s expected based on how strong it is. It does last awhile its just noticeable compared to the others how it’ll drain a battery. I bought a few higher capacity aftermarket batteries to supplement this combo. The only negatives I can give is that one of the 2 batteries arrived dead. It will not charge in the 2 Bosch chargers I have. I can’t blame the seller, this was a NEW Sealed in Box kit. But it was worth noting. The other issue is the impact driver. There is a small little light that blinks consistently directly behind the Battery Status lights by the trigger. Touch the trigger and it stops for a minute then it’s back again. Also, when I pull the trigger in the impact driver there is a slight delay. This only happens the first time when I don’t use it for a few minutes. Lights come on instantly but drill has a delay. Pull the trigger immediately again and the drill is instantly on like normal. It’ll work like normal so long as I pull the trigger within a short time. It is no big deal to me but it happens every time I use the tool. Just hoping there isn’t an electrical problem with the trigger. I still give it a 5 star because this is not the first time I’ve had battery issues with power tools, it happens. And the trigger hesitation is very short and only the initial squeeze or after it’s been sitting for a short time.

OMG! Buy it Now!!!
First off I am big baby when it comes to products. It seems in our currently market that everyone is advertising their product is the best for what you need but when you try it, you seem to be disappointed. I was critical of these. I paid $99.00 for the combo pack, it had an available $20 promo discount with purchase of $100 in BOSCH products. So I grabbed an $18 44pc bit kit (which i needed to expand my tools) and it was like $104 total.
I got it today and tried both. OMG. The impact driver is incredible! I have no idea what kind of power it has but I had it twist 300lbs of torque today and it was a cake-walk. It blew me away. I cry all the time about products not meeting my expectations and I return a lot to Amazon. I am not working construction. I haven't tested how long the battery lasts because workload can make everyone's experience different. I mount TV's, drill holes, impact large bolts into studs, do work on my Jeep. Thats all I need and the impact alone destroys those metrics. Honestly this is all you need. Don't let the size fool you! BUY IT NOW!!
