Я себе такой под сидеье поставил, машиа не большая, поэтому про пассивный и не думал. Играет конечно ни как пассивная головка, но музыка...

- + если только размер и управление которое отдельно крепится где удобно
- - очень жесткий бас, нет никакого эфекта от низких частот, делаешь громче начинает просто стучать
В конце концов просто вынул динамик и сделал для него нормальный корпус, усилитель ничего не менял...

I had one of these in my car, two in fact, one below each of the front seats. Provided a nice way to still 'feel' the lower notes without sacrificing space in the car. Can also really thump when it has too, but don't expect it to hold the really low stuff for long, a natural effect of such a shallow enclosure.
Having said that, I was surprised at it's depth considering that fact, and positioning it under the seats meant it really didn't have to be too loud anyway; you will always feel it. I think they are designed for either the boot (which may well help with the depth, but I did not try it that way) or the spare wheel well, but personally I'd rather have a spare wheel!
Paired with a good set of 6'x 9's / component speakers and amplifier and you will have yourself a good sounding, low budget in car stereo system that can thump when you want, and really make your seat shake, but also provide a fuller, more detailed and rounded sound than pretty much all standard fit car sound system's (bar the expensive optional one's such as Bose that some car's now offer or if your really rich, Mark Levinson!), however those system's are often many thousands of pounds as an option on a new car.
Overall, the fact these tuck away nicely under the seats meaning you lose no boot space at all, and provide a reasonable sound leads me to a 4 star recommendation. No flat sub will ever compete clarity wise with a proper, enclosed subwoofer, hence no fifth star, but this is a damn good compromise without breaking the bank.
