« It works fine so far and the software is easy to use. I had an Epson model prior to this one and the only reason to get rid of it was because there was no support for it with the newer O.S. »

« A product that performs as advertised. Of course it has not yet been time-tested. We'll need to wait to see if this device lasts. »

« It's a good product and we have enjoyed scanning and putting the old photos on a thumb drive for future reference. A good product for documents and very easy to use. »

« I have a an Imac. If you have one you love it but have noticed there are still problems with software not working with a mac. I worried there would be a problem with this scanner....not so. What a relief to push the button and it happens....have only had it a couple weeks but so far ....I love it... (I have a hp 4780 all in one printer which will barely print for me...will not operate wireless will not scan at all since i downloaded software updates.... and thats why I had to purchase a separate unit to scan with) »

« I've had this for a couple of years now and it does what I expect of a home scanner. I don't use it often, and so I'm a bit clumsy with the software and operation, but I get good digital files from various kinds of originals, including slides. What more can you ask? »

« I bought this for my Mom to scan her old negatives and it is awesome. We are now able to print pictures from 50 years ago which would have been lost forever. The software is a little difficult to work with for photo editing, but once you get the hang of it it works well. »

« We bot this to scan slide films, It is easy setup, easy to operate, & excellent quality. Can load 4 slides at a time, in easy slots, click to scan & in about 3 to 4 minutes all 4 are scanned with very good quality. Each slide is put into a separate file, & you can designate where to store them. No problems. strong recommendation to buy. »

« This scanner has blown me away. It far surpassed what I expected. I've done over a thousand scans so far of negatives over 50 years old. It performs beautifuly. The built in scanner software (color restoration) has breathed new life into these old memories. This is an excellent piece of equipment that will allow me to build a photo archive for my family. Easy to use and set up, it's been a great tool. »

« Had to buy another scanner for prints and slides because I upgraded to Win 7 which was not supported by my last scanners. You also had to put the pics in a holder and they took a lot of time to process. I choose this scanner because it is a flatbed type and requires no holders. It also processes slides and film strips and comes with the adapters that you use. I can now do all my conversions with one scanner. to date I have done over 500 photo scans and found the process to be easy and quick. I have been using the fully auto mode and found it to work fine on most photos. The default resolution is 300dpi and this works for me unless I will need to Crop or enlarge the photo and in that case I use the max resolution of 1200dpi. The image processing time is only a few seconds at 300dpi and less than 10 sec at 1200dpi. If you change the resolution it stays at that setting untill you change it and the files are of course much larger. In the fully auto mode the screen attempts to show what type of photo you are scanning, but I found that it shows color print when it is B&W. The scanned picture comes out just fine any way.I do not edit any of the photos except for rotation which is easy to do with just two clicks of the mouse before the file is saved. The whole process in auto mode only takes two presses of the Photo button on the front panel of the scanner. When you press the photo button the first time it automatically brings up the interface on the computer and the second press will start the scan and after a few seconds the screen shows the picture and you can see the orientation and what it looks like. If no action is taken for about 5 seconds the scanner then finnishes the scan, if you see a problem there is a cancel button that stops the scan and you can start over. The scanner is rectangler in shape with the narrow end being the front and back. The lid opens on the back side which means when you open the lid it requires a lot of space above it. The input connections are on the back, but the power switch is on the right side? I would have liked the lid to open from the side instead of from the end, just my prefferance. So far I have only done photos and am very satisfied with the time it takes to do a scan, the quality of the scan, and the ease of use. Would buy again. скрыть »

« I am very pleased with the performance of the scanner after I discovered how to set it up. I am using the automatic mode and like that it recognizes the separate photos and puts them in separate files.Initially, I was disappointed with the color matching, but setting the color restore setting corrected that. I was originally using a slide/negative scanner, but I discovered that many of the negatives were not in very good shape (lots of scratches). It was also taking quite a lot of time. Since I had access to all the printed photos, I decided that copying the photos was the best way to go (and it decreased the amount of time to scan an album by a considerable amount). »

« I got this originally to scan some old slides. Once done with that, I moved on to every photograph and kids' art project in the house. (Ok, I'm not done yet, but I get credit for getting started on them, right?)The color correction is amazing. The slides had some photos where all the whites had yellowed. They're bright, sparkling white again now.It does take a little time for the scans if you have all the bells and whistles going, but if you want fast go buy something cheaper with less quality. »

« I bought this scanner to use in working on my Family Tree and was MOST pleased with how well it does. After gathering up old (some REALLY old!) family photos, I scanned them on this scanner into my computer. This scanner took the old, faded and sometime crinkled pictures and made them like NEW again! Most of the enhancements can be accomplished using the various scanner functions, and using the included Adobe Photoshop software I was able to restore them just like the professionals do. Try this and you won't be disappointed! What used to take me hours to try and fix on my own now takes just a few minutes. A truly great value at an exceptional price - this scanner is as close to a professional scanner costing well over $1,000 that you can find at this low price! »

« Mine was accidentally pushed off the table and landed on its wires, on padded carpet. Regretfully, it is toast. Repair appears to be impossible so those scans are basically very expensive scans.Since it has little mass and the feet do not hold the unit on many surfaces well, care should be taken as it will move easily. However, while it lasted, this scanner was exceptionally good! It scanned photographs, film, negatives, slides and a variety of printed materials including pictures in books at up to several thousand pixels per inch. It did a great job! I was able to enlarge many photographs with clarity beyond those of other scanners. »

« Easily the simplest and easiest scanner to setup and use. Intuitive controls on the scanner and software make it a breeze to operate. I have already scanned 1200 photos of all sizes and am currently on 1600 slides. Doing 4 slides at a times really saves time. It looks like it will survive the rest of the 3000+ slide.s and 4000+ photos to scan yet. I highly recommend this scanner. It is clearly a high quality product at a great price. Kudos to Epson! »
